If you feel it is really too big than lower 21 to something like 10 this would result in 20,22,24 maps
Also in case creating the board is hard(coz it is big and will constantly change, I can write an array/string program for the whole game in Java(only know Java) which we can implement in nuf using Tony's help

I can always insert a Java applet using html
Incase it doesn't work I can try writing it in Javascript (it's a simple program afterall)
Or in worst case just post a general algorithm that anyone who knows a language compatible with nuf can easily write a code using it

I used small letters and big letters for the cases, because the spacing would be messed up if you tried doing anything using 2 letters (Like AA AB and the sort)))

I did it with 32 simply because my template was 8x8, so it was easier to copy paste the lines 4 times and not change anything afterwards... >.>

Still, it shouldn't take that much effort to alter it further to get different number of lines... Some 10 minutes I'd guess.))

@Ddraig, just tested it out, and a board that size is too big for the forum to handle. What justabot posts is a combination of html divs and tables, and the grid can only be done via table, due to some limitations with what CSS properties can be used safely. I'm not aware of a good and easy workaround, atm. The problem with the table is that it stretches out of the post, and into the background.

There are loads of other ways to make the board and add in elements, like generating an image and pasting that, but those would be more intensive for the server, and all of them would be kinda annoying on mobile, including the image.

Another small annoyance with this design for a boardgame is that players have to take turns, which unlike Mafia for example, would mean that players will have to wait each other out, slowing down the game significantly, since online people don't spare the same time on a game, as they would irl.

My personal problem with this design, @Haxagen, is that it's a full blown RPG/Wargame, which would under normal circumstances not be played by people below high rank generals and aristocrats. You could say, that it's fantasy and all, but the pure logistics of organizing enough people to play such a boardgame in this setting, would be as hard, as organizing a good tabletop RPG session, with the additional constraints that, untl the rediscovery of magic, the fastest transportation for pretty much all possible players would be on horseback, and the free time required to finish a game, would not be as readily available to the majority of the population, thus it cannot be a common game, but a very rare one, even amongst magicians, who have reappeared only several decades ago.

Remaking it as a card game, would work better on all accounts. }}
