So I was playing the Monster hunter Beta. (already in love with it ) and I wondered if there was a game where it was just you(not you alone) with massive land, and you get to do whatever you want.. maybe trade or start a family or farm etc...... Skyrim was almost there, but it is kind of lacking. Ark isn't bad but you know, dinosaurs... Would any of you actually play a game like that or is it all about the action?
So, an RPG, kingdom building, action Sim? On a side note, you gonna try the new Ni No Kuni Revenant Kingdom? You might, and I stress MIGHT, like the game. I certainly can't wait.
check their website its january 26 (in 6 days) unless your talking pc version then something like that what you said
Well i think Kenshi is like that. As in you can do whatever you want, but i've never actually played it so i don't know how good it is.
Sims is cool and all but I think she means a game where u play as 1 character fully like Skye in and it's a closed perspective, not itty bitty people like Sims. Like u can trade and farm in some games sure like minecraft, and ark but u cant be creative in those games. They have preexisting rules that limit your options, making it impossible to be flexible and creative. Compare something like A Certain Middle-Aged Man’s VRMMO Activity Log and rebirth of a thief who roamed the world or ark the lightnovel, to skyrims merchanting or, well ARK the game. These games would be awesome thing is, if it were to exist, there most likely would be a limit of upwards to 3 as the amount of coding required to create freedom in a game is a bit........similar to creating a univer with it's laws
Have you tried Final Fantasy 14? I heard that it is like what you described, big lands, and do what you want. One of the reason the game is quite succesful right now.
Try the Tropico games and tab unlimited money if you don't want to worry about the financial challenge. There is also Cities Skyline, the Anno games (1404, 2070, and 2205), Prison Architect with inf money for relaxing building, Banished (can be difficult, don't about any sandbox option). This is presuming you're not talking about games like Stardew Valley and any harvest moon game.
I did, but only the trial. The subscription fee is kinda holding me back. maybe when I stop using ps + then I'll try it
Cattails is pretty much that, but as a cat doing cat things. Elder Scrolls games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) can get there, with mods. Also Fallout to a lesser extent. Life is Feudal sounds like it should be exactly what you're looking for, but has a lot of problems and very mixed reviews. I haven't played either game (the second of which is still in beta), so I can't give an actual review, but it might be worth trying.
