Boys good at math? It's the girls to be honest! Why? Math requires effort! Men only plays console games while women do their homeworks! Biased thinking? No! I was once hailed as a math wizard on our country yet the me right now can't even solve a basic binary digit!
I'm an engineering student and I suck at math. I'm a year behind with my maths. (I can proudly say I'm good in Solid Mensuration though.Fuck calculus) just 2 more maths to go and I'll be finished with them. The technique is to master the basics or at least be great at the basics. If you're great with the basics then most of the maths are just variations of it. Also practice. Practice is the key my dude.
I read an article about this, girls are apparently encouraged from as long as they can remember that math is for boys and they should do girly stuff. This encouragment is due to culture, not thinking for oneself and ignorance. Some ignorant teachers may even supress girls who like math in school.
On average, I would say men and women probably are equal. It's when we are looking at the extremes we will see differences. If you know of the Bell curve, men will have like 25 to 1 on the genius scale... Although we will also have that number on the retard scale. But when we look on average, we have the same. So that can count for one thing with this, another can simply be due to interests between genders.
