So which do you prefer Mac OS or Windows? Largely for me I'd go with Windows. I can do more with it, I feel like gaming is based the most around it and it's not as restricted to me than say mac (though I will admit I like their ipods) Though recently Microsoft has been making really terrible updates for the OS (god forbid we get another Windows 8). You won't ever see me go out of my way for Mac lol though I'm used to helping my parents and other relatives out with their apple rigs.
i usually say Mac for editing , Linux for programming, and Windows for everything else like gaming. so i keep to using Windows even though windows 10 isnt like my beloved windows XP.
What people prefer heavily depends on what they want out of their system. Editing, general casual usage would most likely be Mac OS, but for those technical minded, gaming intended and programmers, it would obviously be Windows. It's agiven that Mac OS will get less since it's not made for gaming, nor are many games made for Mac OS. In addition, I believe that the amount of people who use Macs that go on forums (such as this) etc. would be significantly less than those who are on Windows systems. Knowing the loads of people who use Macs, they mostly use it for streaming movies/tv, fb, instagram, or editing.
Ah. Windows XP, its like your first girl/boy friend. It cant be helped you must going apart. But you will always miss them and remember them.
Well, I’m a windows type of person though I hate windows 10 when it was release and still am due to their updates which corrupts some of my files. Linux is my second most use outside of window to program my stuff. I honestly, haven’t use a Mac in so long that I practically have no idea what the difference between Mac and window. XD I mostly use windows because most of the computer/laptop that I buy came windows h window.
Last time I used Mac was in Elementary School on those colorful late 90s iMacs and I've never used Linux. Since Windows is all I know guess I'll go with that.
Eh, I never thought 8 was that bad. 8.1 helped correct stuff. Plus, I still remember the horror that was Vista. That was truly a wretched OS meant to cause despair in the souls of all men and women.
In full honesty I prefer linux, however I rarely use it, due to the fact that...well... games ofc, also, my god damn bios seems to fuck up my settings every time I launch linux, and since I have the habit of not turning of my computer for months on end and only using sleep mode, I don't really get all that many chances to boot up my linux... If I had a laptop aswell as my desktop then it'd only have linux though, If it weren't for the fact that linux has some limited game compability I'd delete my windows almost instantly ^-^ linux just looks and feels so nice and sleek.
Windows: I use it for gaming and casual stuff as for the most part it is pretty straightforward, easy to use, and relatively customizable and compatible with everything. Linux: Recently installed Linux Mint for programming and I actually like it a decent amount as it simplifies some things and is very similar to windows(Terminal = Kami-sama). It is a major hassle sometimes when installing new things tho, lol. Also largest screen size Ubuntu would give me was around 1020 x 800 on my 1920 x 1080 screen. Mac OS: only reason I would ever want Mac OS is to be able to run XCode because without it you have to pay $99 to compile an ios app that can run on your phone.
