Sooo....why people seems to avoid Lnmtl? Well not everyone but most of you seems to avoid Lnmtl.

I mean yeah sure it's bad, but hey they got 200+ chapters out while human translation still at 20+. Yeah their engliah is bad but my english is bad too so there's not much complain from me.

I mean of it's really bad atleast you could help them, well the translation error atleast, help a community a bit will ya? Just ready a google translate tab, and whenever you spot a "weird" word, and after check it atleast with GT you propose a proper words?

    Just a curiosity tho

Because reading translation group novels is already messing up my English. Used to be top of my class in English grammar with almost a full score in writing section on SAT. After reading novels my English skills went down by a lot. If that happens, I wonder what would happen to me when I read Lnmtl. Used to notice every little grammar mistake while reading, now I’m full of grammar mistakes.

Because it so so bad and poorly done that they aren't just a pain to read. They actually physically hurt me, I get headaches from when I try to read something with such broken and improper English that a kindergartener could do better.
I can only get through a few chapters before I have to stop or physically feel sick.
And I'm not joking when I say that. Being completely serious.

Plus they are often so bad that they are well beyond the help of any editor.
At the end of the day you can only do so much.
You need a good base to make anything good and very rarely does an MTL'er make a good enough base for an editor to make any noticeable difference.

I'm not sure either. Many of them are very readable, others not so much. It just depends on the writing style of the author, and the dedication of the lnmtl readers.

You might be interested in this:
    https://openuserjs.org/scripts/Kronos/User_Glossary_for_MTL
It is a script for Windows machines written by Kronos that will include the Approved Glossary changes for a novel that have not yet been re-translated. The screenshot at the bottom of the link shows where to make the changes on LNMTL.com after it's installed.

Only for Windows but still pretty neat!

Lnmtl is pure machine translate with 5% to no editing. Helping translation error MTL = translating full from begining.

It's not people avoiding LNMTL, it's the negative side effect that people avoided. These symptoms included: Burning eye sensation, severe migraine, and the killing urge to repeatedly stab your own eyes with a pencil.

Ey, think positively! Maybe it might get worse, but there must be something good happens to balance that minus point.

    Uum… something good. Yeah. Something.

Eh i just skip most part and took the important part while leaving a useless detail behind, my brain pretty much hardwired to delete any useless information, and construct the "image" from available information, and it's kinda how my brain worked 24/7 since i'm 7. So maybe it's just me

I once got woken middle of the night with an early morning writing final. After taking a hour to remember how to turn on the shower, I sat the final. Every other word was disdain or contempt. MGA shot my word choice. :(

It's easy to read after it's been retranslated a few times

    Definitely you.
I wouldn't waste a second on a novel where have to skip so much just to get through it. I'd rather actually read something that i can fully read.

Besides, how do you really know what details are important and not if you skip over the majority of it? Your strategy to making MTL readable is fundamentally flawed. All i can say is that you have already missed important details.
You have to read something to know whether or not it is relevant.
