I think it's Wu Dong Qian Kun At the very least, his sister does have the extreme Yin Constitution which he absorbs. Because he needs it to level up. Don't know if her survival is on the line though. Can't say it's a good series either, but eh.
Is he a Reincarnator? 'cos if so it might be Tales of Demons & Gods, but the girl with the excess Ice cultivation problem isn't his sister but his friend (can't recall if she's the love interest or not).
I re-call there was a novel I read about a MC saving a girl with extreme cold condition by absorbing the excess for himself. Then later on he even get an Ice Demon or something that also was help by the girl. Forgot the name though. (EDIT: Now I remember that novel: Dragon-Marked War God)

No. I'm pretty certain just being nearby while she's undergoing an attack was enough. But he needs to be holding a special stone to absorb the energy. And not incest. Spoiler I disliked the novel because the first female met was relegated to supporting the moment the MC developed Stockholm syndrome from a one-night stand.
