Qidian's Paywall

Hey.
How much does Qidian pays you to say b*llsh*t in a thread that says the truth about them?

 

I have no desire to ever visit that shitty website, but it looks like they are only putting advanced chapters behind a wall. Not as big a deal, but i imagine it will be annoying for discussion topics with people reading 10 chapters ahead and posting spoilers. As long as the normal release chapters are not behind a paywall, id say its fine. Not that i believe Qidian will hold themselves back forever.

As long as they do not upload these chapters as normal chapter on NU, then i do not care what they do.

 

Come on, stop with the clickbait threads. Just read the announcement. Isn't this just similar to Patreon?

There's a reason I've been visiting Qidian every day to check-in and get my daily amount of free spirit stones. Got hundreds saved up just in case I'm dying to find out what happens next in a book I like. But still, I usually let novels build up before reading them so the pay to read the latest releases don't really affect me.

 

The great paywall of qidian, now leechers can't invade them now.

Nah, I have enough money. Unlike you who got upset because they implemented this premium thing. It's ok, Qi says you still can read for free.

I don't mind. I will reserve my stones for RTW only! hahaha and I have more than 600 stones.

You know, all those Qidian accounts don't even bother with putting avatars, they aren't regulars that are on the forum for over an year and are active on profiles posts, games section and shitposting... *shakes head*

If you bothered with cliking on the link provided on the first page, you'd see it's not a paywall anyway, you can just use spirit stones to read advance chapters... Just use your free ones, or wait until they stop becoming advance chapters and become free ones instead... *sighs*

 

Meh thinks things cost money.
Now readers can be customers instead of leechers.
You guys should be happy, vote with your wallet and control the quality of novels that they hash out

 

Isn't this just a slight expansion of the current rules? Anyway, I don't follow any of those novels
I'm unwilling to pay for spirit stones, but I would happily pay for a subscription

 

Essentially the advance chapters from patreon, but now instead of being hidden offsite it dangles in front of people tempting them and thus they hate it.

 

I'm so glad I don't have to care about this bullshit. Since this drama started with qidian I've learned the dao of mtl.

 

You are right, but at the same time its his own fault for coming into this thread just to troll and bait anti-Qidian people into flaming him. By all means use your money and time however you want, but at least be civil and try not to act like a child(@R0, not you).

I'm patient and just watch the ads for 15s and skip em. So far I haven't seen anything like a paywall on SAS or JoL.

 

His first post didn't do that though? I do agree he is baiting anti-qidian folks to flame him now, but his first post was pretty civil IMO, and was just saying the truth that the OP was severely lacking.

A few minutes later a link to the announcement was added to the OP though, so it became better.

 

Think with anti-qidian people. If u don' agree with them they will just flame you anyway. They don' get if you give a neutral viewpoint. As long as it' not burn and trash qidian it' wrong and bad.

Need to look at things objectively I say, but sadly people aren' rational
