King of hell chu is a so so example, tho for someone who's lived two lifetimes he can be pretty immature. MC from tales of demon and gods is an unacceptable example for the first 200 chapters as he is pretty much a 2000 year old arrogant brat, though he gets better later on. In other genre I liked the MC's from Kings Avatar, Moonlight sculptor, reincarntor and chronicles of the primordial war.
Better not try Zhan Long. What a mess that story is. Try Avalon of five elements Cultivation Chat Group Strange Life of a cat World of Cultivation Death Sutra deserves a mention since MC is pretty normal but he is in assassin training so killing happens.

Tales of Reincarnated lord has very smart characters during its first arc and is absolutely amazing but unfortunately not so much later on. However I believe the introduction of the story is just that good.
