Recommendations Manga with excellent romantic subplot

Looking for manga with excellent romantic subplot in other genres.
Don't give pure romance(rom/com) suggestions.

• Seinen/josei preferred
• Decent romantic development necessary
• No bl/gl
• No smut
• No tragedy

I haven't read many manga with romantic subplot, so all type of suggestions are welcomed

 

I'll take a stab at this...

Akagami no Shirayuki (also has two seasons of anime)

Honestly, "josei" and "adventure/fantasy" are usually mutually exclusive. That one is about as close as I can think of off the top of my head that I would say is really good. If the manga doesn't give you enough romance, the anime pushes the romance vibe a little extra hard. It was very well done.
