Discussion I just realized Bakarina got her own manga

So I was scrolling around in one of those manga site when I saw the Bakarina manga!!! I was soo hyped. It's only at chapter 6 right now I think. But oh boi how I love the novel to death and now I can also read the manga and look at Bakarina throwing her toy snakes. I hope it would be big enough to get its own anime someday. And then it would be the age of otome villainess genre!! I'm soo getting tired of the tipical isekai anime.

 

But the manga translation caught up the the original and now its a month between chapters. Somehow this is Bakarina's fault

 

I feel like people started tiring of the otome villainess trope before it even started getting animated. The manga definitely lacks the charm the novel had, seeing it all explicitly drawn

Seriously why is there such a lack of this kinda novel? Like only Villainess Brother Reincarnation is one i know about with this kinda stuff(it aint a harem but still) and there was one more with a similar premise but it hasnt gotten updates either. And nah reincarnation into an otome game world as some villain character wont cut it, has to be a villainess' brother! And he has to lowkey capture all the girls as he tries to save the sister from whatever terrible fate awaits her due to the BAD END!

Like, "Ah, my poor sister's end is so terrible, how can that shitty prince throw her away for that slut? I cant let this happen!...but before that...Oi, heroine, what're you looking at me like that for? *sweats*and Saintess, wait, please put those knives away...And prince...er, i dont swing that way you know?"

Yes even the prince shant be spared! Or the sister!

The manga portray well Bakarina's adorable cluelessness and blackhole level of denseness, her facial and body expressions are on point, and it's globally well drawn, but it goes way to fast (1 chapter per harem member arc)...

 

I think dat the novel he wish existed XD

which one? VBR or DSO? VBR is about a brother of a villainess who doesnt want his sister to get the bad end so works to reform her...but first lead by example by reforming himself.

DSO is a girl tryna avoid her own destruction flags and while she's doing that she ends up ntr'ing princes before they even get a chance and collecting a harem of every pretty man and woman in the game while they're still children. Like at one point she tries to cheer up a friend and tells her a line that in the game's original history made the friend fall in love with one of the princes....and she was trying to get the friend and the prince together! Poor prince...cucked before he could even say a word...

or do you mean that whole thing in quote? Yeah its just something i want to happen....but fuck it if no one gives it too me i;ll do it myself! And i might even get serious about it too.

 

Hell yeah i wish it existed. It'd be so damn interesting. Fuck. VBR had such potential....we got reincarnations of side characters, villainess' and random mob characters, why not for the brother of the villainess? All i want is a story of a villainess' hot high-spec brother slowly conquering all the women in the game while just trying to let her sister be happy with the prince she's supposed to fall in love with by totally wrecking the heroine before she gets in the way...but ends up making her a serious bro-con, having the heroine totally nose-bleed for him every time he walks by, creating a yandere Saintess who will do nearly anything to protect his purity she just wants to take away herself...and fighting back the doubts he;s getting as to the prince's own sexuality because the dude keeps on blushing at him

 

VBR is nice (shame there's so few chapters though) but the quote sounded best

 

I remember a novel where mc transported into otome game as one of male harem. But he rejected the female heroine n go couple with the Villainess who actually not a bad person. I forgot the title but it was traslated by the one the translated slice of life novel that have red hair girl n white hair man living in snow country
