Spoiler They were. But in the end the whole Eternal Immortal Domain (that's BXC's world) was sealed in the River of Time and he never saw his wives or kids again. Even in the end of the novel it still didn't show their reunion. @strixflash , Is this right? I still didn't understand about the River of Time and Flowers of Eternity in the last chapter.
That’s really a bad thing to leave open ended. I may drop the novel for now. Maybe when some chapters have piled up, I’ll look at it again. I hate an ending like that.
BXC has two choices. The two petals of Flower of Eternity represented those two choices: One to start from scratch i.e. when he first left village for cutbacks. If he chose this then he could have everything as he wish with no regrets in his life. He could prevent many tragedies which even happened in Heavenspan World , etc. Second to start from the time when that old guy was about to push Flower of Eternity in Space & Time River. BXC saw the events which would happen if he was to take the second choice which included him finding the main girl in temple. In this time-line he would be able to live well with his children and companions. His eldest child would take the throne. And finally he would find Du girl at end. According to that old man running the time boat...only one choice can be made. Before BXC could choose the novel ends. We have to assume what he chooses. I am assuming he chose the second option.

u have to know that his children isnt born yet thou so he doesn't have any attachment to them. besides hou xiaomei who is 100% his wife no matter what unless he doesn't get into the sect, the rest of his wives might not even become his wives if events didn't play out the way they did
i want to believe he would choice 1, we can say that he did not have a lot of regrets, but he had a few ones without doubt, like the number of deaths once he reach the new territory, the loses on his side and his drunkard for months to follow? he could avoid a lot of this and in my view, this alone is enough motive for him to do so, because even if he was not at fault we can not negate that everything that have happen was because of him!. the thing you must remember is with the knowledge he have, he can play the events the way he did, so he could find all his wifes anyway, after all for some of them are pretty easy, he just need to join the sect first! and do everything the same, but with backup plans for the last act,like for example: for the sect of everything like, prevent deaths of some secondary character, and most important give previous knowledge about the new world and overall strength to his peers, so they could do better, remember how cultivator have a perfect memory? this post is gonna be full of spoiler and multiple maybe scenarios of how the mc could have act if he choice options 1. and multi colored fire, he does not have enough in the new outside realm to build up a lot of fire's, but with this knowledge he could have save up extras, so he could build up even 23-24 colors fires and upgrade his pet flower to peak half god realm , or even higher to heavenly lord realm for example since he already know the formula, he only needs souls. this alone would already allows him to fair a far better grasp in earlier fights and compensate the lack of the other manual in his plans to capture ghost mother for example and skip years and years of building up of power with the fire, there is also the fan that the sole mission is to find the successor of it's master, with his knowledge he could trick the spirit really easily to accept him as the new successor, after all he knows everything about the fan in later chapters and even the life of the previous master, he could tell a bullshit lie, like he is the same lineage of the previous master, that somehow when he was traveling here he fucked a girl and had a son that gave birth to his family , and with his knowledge about him and the fan, would be more than enough proof and even if the spirit does not accept it right way, he can always use his refinement, this time he would have up to +23-24 fire, where before he only had up to 12-14 and he always justify that what he did is a special skill passed by as proof to the successor in his family, since he would be taking jurisdiction that is the same as becoming the owner, and since would have the perfect explanation there is no way that the spirit would argue of him by shameless so once he took the fan for himself and even if he did, +23 +24 fires would already be enough to crush and give a fair earlier advantage in his training to heavenly lord and just needs to follow the previous path, since right now he would know when the spirit is awake and not for certain and the fan is always he needs to stand his own on the new world.

She is the daughter of heavenspan doist, she was in sect because the origins of the sect are somewhat special, he will meet her a lot later in the story but they won't be able to stay together.
