Engineer or Medic. You decide on what you will take. I personally will choose engineer. You can increase your job level and also "buy" new class. It will cost you agency point which you will gain by simply RP-ing with other member or applying for mission. Not powerful at all. Imagine simple fireball spell. While in fantasy setting it can burn a full-grown man, in here it will only give them 2nd degree burn. Item is also the same. Some item may accidentally being brought from the other world, but it will have very small power. The thing with magic is that in this world, the mana or any kind of magic energy is very, very, very thin. It exists, but not enough.
