News Calvis: Parting Ways with Kobatochan

Dear Readers,

I’m here to inform the readers\community of NovelUpdates that I have parted ways with KCDS after some complications and have set up my own site. I will update you on a brief summary of what has happened: So after some contemplation this month, I thought it was best for me to venture out as an independent, and run a site to freely upload while also making announcements within it. Since I have been translating all the chapters with my Minions (Sai101 and BorderlineMasochist) working arduously, I did not feel there was a need to stay there any longer. With a dispute regarding Patreon as well as other factors, I’ve decided that it would be best for me to part ways with KCDS and further my career as a translator. Unfortunately, what I regret most is that I have involved some people into this matter due to the leak of confidentially, and will not be taking IatM with me to the new website despite the hit on my reputation.

As for Green Skin and Dragon Poor, these novels will continue to be released on a regular pace. However, with the exemption of I am the Monarch on Elysiel dot com - for anyone who needs their daily dose of chapters. [Note: It is live for only a day now, so please inform me if there are any bugs or suggestions]. In addition, I deeply apologize for not being able to translate further on I am the Monarch as I did have an disagreement, but have concluded talks with KCDS taking down the chapters I've done there in exchange for me discontinuing the translation of IatM. I really do hope that the translation of IatM can be continued soon for the readers and the fans that have waited patiently. It is surely my greatest regret as the reason why I have wanted to pick this up was to complete the 100+ or so chapters remaining within a few months for the readers. Once more I apologize for the difficulties that have risen in affecting the readers here on Novel Updates. Thank you.
