Name: Balthazar Helstead Race: Human Age:21 Gender: Male Background: Spoiler: BG Coming from a relatively high class family, Balthazar had a great deal of freedom to do what he wanted, of course he never overstepped any major bounds. One thing that he was interested in was nanotech which was an expensive thing to study and apply. Of course, he learnt it regardless and managed to come up with a couple different technologies on his own which were relatively untested. Lacking a test subject, Balthazar used himself as the guinea pig and was usually gratified at the result. One test however resulted in him getting kicked out of his family with only a small allowance every month. Not one too be put down however, Balthazar continued trying to compress the cost of his studies until he finally managed to do so after dealing with some shady people. Eager to test out new technologies that were born from his mind, Balthazar joined the Prometheus Agency in an attempt to show off his prowess.. They're loosely similar. Young man who comes from a relatively upper middle class family who then gets kicked out partially due to his research is quite similar to mine. Though mine isn't a "you get an allowance" kicked out, but a "right now we wouldn't mind if you died" kicked out. Though some of his family members would probably mourn him. Funnily enough, while my char isn't a specialist in nanotech, his mother is one of the foremost researchers on the subject in the city (which is why he has some familiarity with it).

It'd be funny if your char ran into mine and then got super-excited if he figured out who mine's mother is. Not that he advertises who she is, since they're not on the best of terms.
It can definitely be arranged thru various means. I suggest the two picking up a job meant for two people and thus they would be complete strangers and fairly critical of the other at the start, any other possible interesting development styles?

Most certainly. A nanotech specialist would only remind him of his family and his mother. And he definitely would enjoy criticizing them. I think my char is a lot more arrogant than yours is and they could certainly butt heads there too. In terms of our meeting, if you want you can head over to the mechanic shop I just started working for. It's pretty famous for being in the Lower City and has a good repuation. It's called Kenobi's. And is run by a fellow by the name of Ben Kenobi
