Recommendations Thief or Assassin Mc?

I'm looking for a MC who trains in the art of assassination or thievery and actually puts these skills to use. I've looked through the 'Tags' for assassin's and found that such instances are mostly minor parts.

I'd prefer no Slash if possible.
I don't care if it's light novel, fanfiction, or other.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm currently up-to-date with both Night Ranger and Rebirth of the thief, only two I've found interesting myself. I shall look into others shortly.

 

Shadow Rogue (maybe cuz till where i read he used the assassination skills)

King of the Battlefield (He just uses stealth nothing more though a little bit like typical novels)
Everyone Else is a Returnee ( NOT exactly what u want but has stealth and is a fun to read)

Try Brent Weeks. Start with The Way of Shadows (Night Angel, #1)

 

try Joy of Life, mc trains in poison, and is aways sneaking around. He steal things too. The sneaky bastard.

 

Konosuba, he steals panties that are currently worn, I think that skill is being put to the best use possible

 

its a good book until you get to the 3rd that was just awful, I regret picking up the book.

I am reading Night Ranger because of this thread and i feel bitter because assassins chronicle is much better But not highly recommended.

Yep, check them, they range from adventure fantasy to quite dark ones
