His Previous incarnation in the movie is one of the supporting role (He not main - from my understanding), and he historically known. If i remember correctly he visit his own grave at graveyard that belong too all the soldier that fought in the apocalypse.

I am not sure about alien, from MTL, I can't remember any mentioned on that. But both of them are safe. FZ uses the 10 generation games equipment to protect him and SH as barier from the explosion

 

But I remembering in MTL that FZ got a anonymous 'fan' that's very supportive? My guts tells me It's a possible love interest.
