It's essentialy the same. Just change the perspective.

One the MC is the victim
And the other MC is the thief

Either way like someone mentioned it's a double standard

You only get hurt if you don' train yourself and hit their hard places incorrectly. If you are trained and hit them right, even if you hit their forehead you won't get hurt.

Well there are cultures, that have outdated barbaric punishments.

According to Sharia Law, women who are caught doing adultery are stoned to death.

    Edit: for reference

    Hadith and Sira
Sahih Bukhari (6:60:79) (alt link) - Two people guilty of illegal intercourse are brought to Muhammad, who orders them both stoned to death. Apparently their act was out of love, since the verse records the man as trying to shield the woman from the stones.

That means that you like stealing from others, but don't want anyone striking back. How conceited.

Even thieves don't want to be stolen from, dude. It's not conceited, it's just natural.

When it comes to likes and dislikes, there's no hypocrisy. You enjoy what you enjoy, and when you don't like something, you don't like it. Especially when it comes to things that are opposites (stealing from someone as opposed to being stolen from), you can't really expect people to enjoy both, can you? I don't think all those xianxia readers want to see a novel where the main character gets killed thousands of times by various martial arts experts.

I don't care either way unless the story is good
I usually hate it when it is rape, since it defeats the purpose.
You can't exactly call it cheating on someone when it is rape
but we have rape fantasies, stockholm syndrome being portrayed as romance so no one should be surprised
Mistaken netori or netorare is genius though, I enjoy when characters suffer. Bite me!
I love the feeling of schadenfreude

A lot of it comes down to how we observe Netori and Netorare as Justice and Injustice.

Netorare - The male victim is considered to be a good guy. While we perceive the male perpetrator stealing the girl as an INJUSTICE against the good guy, and that he didn't deserve that as he was a good guy.

Netori - The male victim is considered to be a bad/evil person. While we perceive the male perpetrator stealing the girl as a JUSTICE against an bad/evil person, and that was good that evil lost.

i think what the definition of netorare is often contradicts with the content since the definition is "MC get loved one stolen from him" so this poses the question: who is the MC?
is it the guy that only get a mention but never appears?
the guy that is in 1 or 2 panels in the whole story?
can such a character be called an MC?
when the story many times revolve around the woman getting stolen(that would make her the MC) or the man doing the ntr(that would make him the MC) should it not be considered netori instead?

I said it while adressing to a mindset compatible with either "treat the rest as you want be treated" or "if you do something, be prepared for it to be done to you". Also, poking some fun.

Also, if a xianxia like that doesn't exist, it really should. It's a trove of possibilities.

I don't think netorare that bad... How should I explain it I hate but also like it. It kinda shows if the man or woman is loyal to mc. If they ntred because they found someone who's like stronger/richer/powerful than mc or afraid of death something situation that betrays the mc. Well it goes to show you they are not worth it. Plus force ntred I won't consider it ntr. Plus the most thing I hate about ntr is that the person who ntred still stay with mc like glue. I mean why don't they fuck off.

Netorare: like it if the mc is shitty like "yuki rito" , "raku"
Netori: like it if the plot done right
    Shitty example: maou no hajimekata
    Good example:
