Saw this trailer, and it looks interesting. We have a 2D RPG game that has a military setting. ( Tis a rare RPG setting ) Here's the main short description : Long Gone Days is a 2D modern-day military RPG set in our current times, with a focus on language and cultural barriers, inspired by classic dystopian literature and visual novels. It looks like it has this visual novel storytelling style, and companionship with teammates are important ( like Persona ). Interestingly enough, outside of the first person rpg combat, there's also sniping in the game. Also, there are Russians . Seems like it has been in dev since 2016. I expect quality. More info below. http://store.steampowered.com/app/510540/Long_Gone_Days/ It's set to be released this 29 March
Hmm, I'll give it a lokk tw, you got cut off at the end of your post Edit: corrects someone's post while mistyping btw as vtw *facepalm*
Looks like another game I'll be getting but prolly never play added into the list of other games, the sin of steam games I say...
I like the art. Features list mentions a few quirks - language barriers, moral - that are interesting enough. The RPG combat doesn't look like anything spectacular, but it at least isn't a click-to-use-attack-or-skill menu. .... The sniping neither, honestly, but it's cool as a random minigame-type inclusion. Overall, the combat system is hit or miss but the rest looks like a high quality production.
