This one is outdated you can't download "Clearly" anymore Use my other tutorial http://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/readability-bookmark-version.9092/#post-335104 This is an extension that makes annoying adds and other unrelated things disappear when your reading. Also works for Firefox thanks to "Jesus" for telling me You can also use "the_cheater17's" method. (Click me for link ) This method would mainly be for Firefox users. Step 1: go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/apps Step 2: search up "Clearly" Step 3: Click Clearly it should be under "Extensions" and it should be the first one ( has an icon of a green lamp with two floating words beside it saying "Evernote Clearly" ) Step 4: Click Add to Chrome or w/e it says and your done. I put the links below for the Google Chrome Extention and one for their main site. Notes: this will work for some sites but for others it won't for example it doesn't work on clickyclicktranslation.blogspot.ca for some unknown reason. using "Evernote Clearly" with f11 button is a good combo. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/clearly/iooicodkiihhpojmmeghjclgihfjdjhj?hl=en-US This is the link for Google Chrome Extension https://evernote.com/clearly/ This is the link for their main site if you guys do try and use this extension and for some reason it doesn't work on the site please do post it in comment section and I will make a compilation for it.
( On December 17, 2015, Evernote will not make further updates to the Clearly extension. Customers who currently use the Clearly browser extension can continue to do so. As of January 22, 2016, Clearly will no longer be available for download. ) Is what Evernote said. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/212952747
Thanks for sharing this, I tried it out and seems pretty good to use. I rarely sit down at my computer to read new chapters (I usually read on phone or tablet) but when I do this will come in handy.
Hori shitto, I was searching for this since i was using edge on my laptop, but in my chromebook, you can't use edge(thanks captain). Thanks for sharing this.
These are my reader mode versions, pretty different from bro @Ravi tutorial. I'm using firefox (latest version), so I don't know it will work with chrome-based browser or another-based browser. There are three modes. 1. Reader View (firefox only, in-app feature) Using firefox, you can enter reader view or reader mode without add-on or plugin. When open a page, you can see an open book icon in address bar. Click it to enter reader view. Work for most of wordpress-based sites and another website that I don't know. Not work for blogspot-based sites, as far as I know. 2. Reader (firefox add-on) I can't find Reader extension for chrome-based browser. With Reader, you can adjust background color, font color, font size, font type, etc. For further information, visit the add-on page. Link add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/reader/ *Click Add to Firefox to add this add on to your firefox. Work for most of wordpress-based sites and another website that I don't know. Not work for blogspot-based sites, as far as I know. 3. Readability (firefox add-on and chrome extension) Not that different whit Reader View, but have its advantage. You can try it. Link add-on firefox: https://www.readability.com/addons *Click Download to add this add-on to your firefox. Link extension chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/readability/oknpjjbmpnndlpmnhmekjpocelpnlfdi *Click Add to Chrome to extend your chrome with this extension. Work for most of wordpress-based sites and another website that I don't know. AND work for blogspot-based sites, as far as I know. I hope this helps and is not confused by how I write it. Ask me if you have question.
ty for letting me know about this. For some reason the normal site for LLS does not allow me to scroll up or down in google chrome so with this app I can keep reading some blogs on chrome instead of using both firefox and chrome now lol
