Request Stat point distribution

So, I've been thinking about stat points today. Reading so many novels about them probably didn't help in the slightest to not...

I would love to have recommendations on games that have a stat point system implemented, that would allow you to, if you wanted, turn a mage into a glass cannon or a tank.

Preferred: PC (any game that needs less than 4GB Ram and can run on a Intel i5 2450M)
EDIT: + Offline game preferred
Can be: GBA, NDS (Etrian Odyssey is lovely), PS2, PSP.

Please don't recommend Fallout series or Dragon Age series (I've had enough of them).

 

path of exile and grim dawn comes to mind, aswell as titan quest and diablo 2

you can do any build with any character, it may not be the 'best' build, but it is possible.

 

Torchlight? I haven't played the game that much but it has the typical stat distribution system.

I'm grinding stats in "The World Ends With You" and "Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon" (both DS)

 

Final Fantasy X has a pretty extensive stat board for the endgame.

 

Dream of Mirror Online had it. multiple classes, independent levels (so you can have 1 at lev 12 and another at 50), ability to change between 'em at will, cross class skills (so you can tank in robes or make your mage a berserker (effectiveness may vary, but you *could* do it)), and, yes, stat points so you can build yourself however you'd like.

granted, i'm not sure the game's still up. been awhile since they rebooted it, but i kinda lost interest after realizing i didn't wanna leveling everything all over again.

 

It is not really battle oriented, and more like a visual novel, but Long live the Queen might be worth looking up; it is highly influenced by stats.

The World Ends With You has stats... I played through it only looking at clothing brands... And haven't touched RF3 after marriage because I didn't know of the event and the time shift it causes... So I couldn't have the anniversary when I wanted it to be...

 

Reminds me of Mabinogi in the freedom of it...

 

Ragnarok battle offline

This is a sidescroll rpg game based on RO.
Stat distribution affect what combo you can use and the damage you give. For example, strong aerial attack for swordsman can only be used when you have 30 str if im not wrong. You can create a tanking mage with so little attack that you definitely will want to delete the character

The latest build is RBO EX3. If you want it, you can just search for it

 

Its hard to find offline games now with stats distribution... most online games now too rely on equipments

Fantasy: un-check.
sorry if my recommend is bot fit you, but it have most of catelogy you need.
Zombie Shooter 2 still need 2 buy( yep, not free), but Alien Shooter 2 are free in the form of GOG game.

Only ATK, DEF, HP & Bravery though. Pin damage is amplified by ATK and and damage received is reduced by DEF. All 4 stats can be grinded by food...I'm on Week 1 Day 3 and grinding all 4 stats until the wallet & yen pin stack gets full.

RF3...I remember there being a time skip after the partner gets pregnant. I was able to get there twice few years ago, but I lost that save.
