I was wondering if anyone care if manga, novels or any type of translation pirated from the original site and the person who stole it didn't link it.
Not sure if anyone else did this
P.S this is my first thread

Most of us are numb to it already. But yes, any of us who actually give a damn about the community and the culture as a whole disdain aggregate sites.

It was too late and there's nothing we could. All we could do is to suppress the novel version of it to our best.

I do read from aggregator sites before... but changed. The quality of each page is retained in the orginals scanlation site. And most good scanlator sites nowadays have a reader that can view all pages. Plus, it just updates faster in the original site

I ignore them. I use the official release website to read it anyway

I'm used to it for manga and anime, but I prefer to read on the original sites for novels.

I do care about that, but we don't have any good website for mangas like novelupdates are for novels :/

If it is stolen yehaa. But not all cases are stolen. A popular site will stop being popular if they do that. There are sites where they first release in a certain site they come from, then release it in another popular site in order to let the manga and the site be know.

I have no choice for manga since I don't know any good sites like novelupdates which link us to the source and keep us updated.

there is no thing like novelupdates that allows us to connect directly to the translator sites. the closest i can think of is r/manga but even then they miss korean manwha that I like

I prefer to read in original sites when it comes to novels. As for manga, or I'm reading in some aggregator sites.

the only reason i read manga on aggregator sites is because there's nothing as convenient as novelupdates for manga
    mangaupdates is a mess

I don't care and it's not like they are claiming translations as their own. And every chapter has a credit page. I haven't seen a site who removes credit pages. Readers who want to read translations faster by all means can use google and find the site of translators but it's not convenient if you have to browse sites of 4-5 translation groups. It's even more convenient to use an app to read in mobile, which they only support popular sites.

I despise manga aggregator sites who removed credit pages and converts it to shitty quality 800x600 .jpg format with added watermarks. :blobangery:

So that's why i read it in their TL site (if they have) or in MangaDex or sites that keeps the original quality, :aww:

I feel like most people probably wouldn't care because a lot read through manga apps, so they don't actually go to the website to find the translations.

I find it kind of unfair to the translator, but technically it shouldn't be translated in the first place so...

I have to read on aggregator sites cause the majority of my favorite manga scanlation sites have shut down. Where else would I read them? And there isn't one local site where scanlators willingly allow them to upload their translations anymore, they've all disappeared or taken down.

Care? Haha that is rich. You have people commenting on aggregators and saying thank you for the translation
