I thought Roy’s people is supposed to have low IQ

 

Apparently he is a bit special. A mixbreed that has some powers to manipulate plants. So that's probably why.

 

The babies are born when MC and company (there're two side pairings) are at robot exhibition and getting attacked by people from higher civilization (other planet). 3 eggs hatched there, but 1 egg is kidnapped by the bad guy.

It should be a happy event, but since the situation is like that, they're more worried about the kidnapped egg. After this, the setting of the story moves to the higher civilization planet.

IMHO, the later story isn't as cute as the beginning since it's more about MC and ML repopulating the planet via pregnancy drug (male & female who take it will get pregnant through sex or even sperm cell injection, the amount of baby depends on how many pill they take) and rooting out the bad guys.

 

QAQ what happened to the poor egg that got kiddnaped??

 

What happened with Roy also? Was he just a background character who had no point besides setting the scene of the story???

 

I bet you the ML’s people or family got him. ML’s mom really likes MC right? All hail the mighty MIL.

That egg also hatches inside the mecha that kidnapped him, then he sucks dry the mecha driver (kidnapper)'s spiritual power? life essence?. The kidnapper is dead, while the baby grows big until he looks like 3-4 yo. The mecha is found by space scrap pickers(?) and they take care of him until he reunites with his dad.

Roy gets thrown to jail, I think, for killing his crew members when exploding his own ship.

 

I am thinking of toiling through MTL to translate this, so that I could give back something to this community (inspired by Kez). Already did the first chapter.

Phew...because everyone was talking about babies and....

 

the mc makes medicine with some non sentient roots of his ....but if he takes someone's errr essence (in this case ml's) he can fertilize them to become real babies
