Ragdolls are hella cute and fluffy. All cats r fluffy. You could adopt a cat if you know it yourself that you could take care of them. My cats r really lazy, perfect for my lazy self. Good luck to your endeavours!
By cheating it's that they eventually finds other people or their homes to be more comfortable than your own hospitality. Bad quality such as developing stealing behavior, crapping everywhere including the bed, picky eater, desk or tabletop cleaners, etc.
indeed, She's called blacky. She's really friendly and loves to sleep while being cuddled by my mom. Likes to sit on peoples laps and watch tv, She's pretty smart and even understands a few words in both estonian and russian (for example, let's go home). She's even learned which surfaces she's properly allowed on in the house and which she's not. She has occasional bouts of playfulness but nothing too serious. Which reminds me, be careful while playing with a cat. Obviously she can scratch you, but if you're not careful they can actually give you a proper scar. I have 2 claw marks on my thumb on my left hand from when she was a kitten (she's 9 currently and going strong)...not that I mind, It's nice to remember my cat merely by looking at my own hand ^-^ I'm going home next week after not seeing her for the last 2 months so I'm happy. *edit* Also she's a nice lil lady who has never knocked anything off of tables.
I'll say if you can afford to take care of it, then yes, absolutely. If in your country there is an association caring for stray and abandoned cats, go to them, you'll be able to choose there, and they can help you choose too if you want a calm cat or one who love to cuddle for exemple.
Get a few hens. Fresh eggs and baby chicks all year are the best. If they get too old roast chicken on the side. Chicken fillet scramble eggs and chicken bone stock soup whole family in a meal! then you can cuddle baby chicks while you eat. You feel their love from warm feathers outside all the way inside your belly and out the poop.
They're quite big actually. And they breed fast. Only that eating them equal eating a rat. But yes chicken yield eggs.
I didn't read the thread, but @Hallow Cause before getting a cat, can he go outside or will he be locked in an flat ? If it's the second option please don't get a cat, that wuold just be cruel...
Ask your acquaintances who have cats of their own how they take care of them. Do you live in the city or countryside ? How safe is it to let the cat outside ? Would you need a catdoor or not ? If you're planning on getting one, ask acquaintances who might have pregnant cats what they'll do with the kittens or friends of friends similarly, a lot safer than getting a cat from god knows where. Some might keep, some usually give away. Be prepared for several years of caring for the cat, it's not a few years' thing. We used to have 2 cats, got the first one maybe '01, but she passed away last autumn, the other one is from her 2nd pregnancy, and we gave all the others away. But we live on the countryside so we could let them out most of the time (one very willingly, the other less so unless in summer).
get 2 cats, some toys, some places for them to scratch with claws, some toys for them to climb up and 2 different plates for both food and water, also read some training manuals for young cats, you will benifit later from it, like when you say meow the cats responds, isnt that cute
if you do decide to get a cat, please create a follow-up thread to share which breed you chose in the end and what it looks like.
