Depending on the country it goes pretty far, like a video some years ago from Sweden where a girl at school performs a striptease for the whole school and gets naked. But i guess nipples are non-threatening in Europe and you'd see each other naked in Swedish saunas anyway. :blobthinkingsmirk:

Yeah, depending on the country/culture it certainly allows for some actions to be viewed differently than other locations/cultures. However, even so... some actions generally world wide are obviously looked down upon and I would contend that in many cases, rightly so. Then again, I guess if I am "evaluating other people and cultures according to the standards of my own culture" then that makes me ethnocentric. Depending on exactly what I might be judging then you can apply various negative labels. However, how far do you want to take ethical or cultural relativism? Just because a large enough group of people fall in line with certain cultural values and decide to do things a certain way does not means it is actually beyond being judged as something good or bad by another group of people. Of course, when the line is crossed and a certain culture/subculture can be said to be generally unsound or unethical, depends on the particular situation.

So, let talk about the real important issue here... what video game is this? We all know video games are an important medium to express cultural diversity and enhance educational aspirations.

Its weird for people to call communism a shit system, its more like shit people trying to do something good, we usually call them anti-heroes in novels.

dude you need to learn to read, I wrote socialism. socialists are just fools that believe socialism will bring them some kind of utopia when socialism is just a transition phase to communism.

people in the medieval time survived with the feudalism and they were happy too, guess that "makes it working for you"

nice joke, is like the people wasn't paying for it with annual taxes.

The thing is, it's been shown that these kind of systems work and people are quite willing to fund them with their taxes. (at least in countries outside of the US)
e.g. NHS in the UK, yes it isn't perfect, but it works and the people in the country are proud of it

That's one of the funny things with the US.

The US government spends more taxpayer's money on healthcare than the UK government. (in terms of % of GDP)

Everywhere they have ever been instituted millions of people have suffered and died. Capitalism also has a certain degree of flaws, but it has lifted millions out of poverty and given them an opportunity to succeed and gain wealth. Communism will never work and the base ideal of eliminating private property is ludicrous and dangerous idea that will never bring about a paradise of equality that people so desperately wish it would.

TL;DR: If your system has led to the deaths of 100 million people, it's a pretty trash system :p

That exact same line can be used about capitalism...
    It isn't black and white.

Can you please tell me how capitalism kills anyone? Communism kills people because it literally takes things from people and then tells people want they can and can't have. There is no way for Capitalism to kill anyone because Capitalism only allows people to trade what they want(this doesn't kill people, only bad decision kill people making those people faults not capitalism's), while communism kills people because it dictates what people can do.

I assume you're referring to people in countries with questionable labor laws get screwed by the system and paid extremely pitiable wages? That's one of the limited arguments you could make about capitalism "killing" people, which is ridiculous because even if they are being paid extremely small wages, they are not actively being executed in the street ala Cambodia, where researchers studied 20,000 grave sites and found the remains of nearly 1,112,829 victims of execution by the Khmer Rouge.

The labor laws of their country being exploited is not solely the fault of capitalistic principles, but also that of their government's unwillingness to protect their people and ensure they receive proper compensation. Are some companies exploitative and douchey? Absolutely, but capitalism gives the consumer power to choose where they spend their hard earned money and helps drive companies to correct their errors.

Take for example, Nike, after a third party report went public about the horrendous conditions that their workers in Asia faced, the public boycotted their products and they lost tens of millions in potential revenue. To this day, despite correcting their flaws and making everything better for their workers in Asia, they have yet to lose the label of sweatshop labor exploiters. The threat of losing revenue and damaging their brand spurs countless companies to pursue philanthropic causes, with tech companies in the US donating hundreds of millions of dollars to charities that help the less fortunate. Many even encourage and give their workers paid time off to volunteer for causes they believe in. If capitalism was a system only about making money and stepping on the poor as many seem to think, then companies would never bother wasting time and money on these things. People inherently like companies that stand for a cause and act in the best interests of their employees. Companies understand this, so they shift their priorities based on the will of the free market to gain customers and talented employees. You can thank free market capitalism for encouraging this shift in behavior.

If you honestly think that the Capitalism and Communism are comparable in the amount of people that have been victimized and killed then you are more deluded than I thought.

Yes, I have been asked if am an anarchist or communist. The university I graduated from is known for its radicals. I just just laugh.

One time I was like "do you see me in the mountains preaching communism and the overthrow of the capitalist government?"
And he was like "Um, do you?"
    Me: "..."

To clarify, no I'm not a communist or any kind of radical/anarchist/whatever.

I know that "communist" is equivalent to "demon" in NATO countries during cold war. But I thought the cold war is over and harsh political persecution based on ideology should end.
I think this "communist" thing is just another excuse justifying the anti-China racism in your country. Brazil is ideologically charged. We learn that from the Rio Olympic Games. I feel sad for you being called "communist" for reading CN novels. My grand-parents had friends who were persecuted for reading American novels and listening to Hong Kong radio programs in the 1960s. What I want to say is don't let things like this harm the relationship in real life. People are more important than materials.

Really??? These people are really bored this days, picking up and discriminating people. Even reading a foreign novel defines your political views. Smh

Capitalism kills people because the rich people make/take more and more money from the poor. Now think about what happens to people with less to no money in capitalism where money means everything. Capitalism rule #1: Those who have shall gain some more.

Congratulations, you're not a communist! You can infer the reason from this comment:

Yeah I tried looking up why someone would say capitalism kills and this was the only answer I got, which to me is the same as saying to it is okay to take away your freedom because someone might get hurt. I don't think anything could convince me that capitalism kills because capitalism doesn't force anyone to do anything unlike communism, so I think it is ludicrous to blame anything on capitalism instead of the individuals in it unlike communism which is a collective so it is at fault when someone dies because of things that it should be in charge of.

Basically I see Capitalism as individual responsibility, so it can't be blamed for what the individuals do. While Communism is a collective and should be blamed for any failures that it was responsible.
