So, i've read the manga till rembrandt arc, but i haven't read the novel at all, should i read the novel from the start? Anything important before that? Or should i stay the course and read the novel after the rembrandt arc?

I'd probably re-read the first chapter or two, and see if that has more details than what I could remember, then decide from that.
Tsuki ga does tend to have longer chapters from my perspective, and they're generally fine to read, so I don't think re-reading them would be a bad idea (Rembrandt arc is also a relatively early arc for the novel).

important points are covered by the manga with some addtionals since manga are based from the published light novel
I also understood a lot of thing from the manga that i was confused from the web novel
though the web novel have a lot more content and slow pace so I guess it was more detailed and elaborate than the manga
