I just had one of those moments when I realized I have too many games in my Steam library. I was wandering this way and that online and came across some pics and a synopsis for a game called Shadows: Awakening - http://store.steampowered.com/app/585450/Shadows_Awakening/ . So I thought to myself, looks a little interesting, let me check it out on Steam, see what the reviews are like and if I should add it to my Wishlist to track it. So I jump over to Steam, bring up the game, lo and behold I already own it, but it doesn't come out until late September. I mean, I was shocked, I know I have a lot of games, and many of them came from bundles so it's sometimes hard to keep track of them, but to find out I own a game I hadn't heard of until 3 minutes prior and it doesn't even come out for like 5 months, that's some impressive game hoarding if I do say so myself. Of course I finally realized it was the publisher that was the key to the whole thing. A year or two ago I snagged a bundle with a lifetime key for this specific publisher. So every so often I check my Steam library and I have a few new titles, usually little indie type games. But this incident made me take a second look at how many games I have on Steam, currently over 350. Might be time to stop purchasing for a little while.
we get it, you're an arrogant young master brandishing you're wealth of things you like to play with.
Steam is smart that even when you will never play many of their games, you will bought them anyway because of those humble bundle or discount. My friend have hundreds of steam game that he will never play just because it seems so cheap when he bought it and he cant control the urge to buy them.
The only people who realised they have too much are the only one whose rich enough to notice them. -Poor Pleb
Retirement will be a busy gaming period for people that have a overloaded steam account... Maybe one day we'll get a webnovel like "I can't escape from this room until I finish all the game in my steam library", or an isekai named "I got transported in another world but the only cheat I got was access to the games in my steam list ? Seriously ?! You know that I'm not continuing to add useless descriptive text to the title of this book in order to have a longer title than the LNs next to this one in the shelf"...
I have steam too. . The amount qty in there is 0.. Even free game need fast and stable internet to install which i lack of .. I don't know why i install steam anyway . Maybe i wait for lucky encounter and plot armour
Which degree of completion are we talking ? One time, several times, every possible 'route' (dependant on what type of games, all achievements etc. ?
And I didn't talk about the one where a Chinese video games fan get transported in an alternative modern world or in the past with acces to his steam library and became a famous gamedesigner by shamelessly ripping off games from his steam library, taking all the credit from the hard work of others while insulting the countries of origin of those ripped of games under the cover of nationalist and being shown as a great morally upright guy by the author while he molest female co-workers left and right.
Kek, showing off your money huh. The only thing i bought in steam are pubg csgo and wallpaper engine. The rest are from events and giveaways.
