Question Shadow hack question

Shadow hack has bad rating in both nu and qidian website, only 2,8 and 3,8. But somehow this novel is popular, #3 in weekly rating in novelupdates and #4 in qidian.

So i have question for you that has read this novel more than 200++ chapter
1. Is this novel good?
2. Is this novel underrated in rating?
3. What rating you personally give to this novel?

 

There's no need to read over 200 chapters to know that this novel is shit. I think i've read almost 20 chaps and then dropped it.

 

Personally I would say the novel has a bunch of wasted potential and eventually spirals down into another generic game system novel. I would say the rating is justified.

 

pretty sure it was just overhyped right after it came out, noone actually likes it at this point as far as i know. it's average

 

I didn't quite enjoy the first 60-70 chapters, but I slowly started to like it. It's far from great, but it's not horrible.
For a rating; 3/5 or 3.5/5 if I'm going to be nice.

 

1. It's a bit of a rarity in some regards and maybe cliche in others. What makes it good or bad depends on what you like amongst what there is.
2. I usually ignore rankings, because i'm highly sceptical that they're actually accurate

That being said, I GTLed the entire novel (it seems to have stopped updating some time ago) so I could probably answer some questions regarding the 'future' if there are any

 

The novel is good.
I don't know why it's ranking is that high.
I would give a rating 4 for this novel.

 

Well this Particular novel is quite hard to rank.
Its not so well written in some parts.
Because of its hipe quite a lot of different people started to read it. And Every Second didnt like it so thats the reason for its rating.
And Because its a Quidan Novel it gets some more hate then it deserves.
I think its a Novel worth reading. Just try the first 50-70 Chapters. If you like it good for you if not just drop it.

 

A novel being 1/5 or 5/5 depends only on how much of its voters are the target demographic for that novel.

 

There are a lot of readers because it updates frequently and it's easy to consume. It's a novel that's like junk food. Lots of readers leads to a high weekly rating in both NU and QI.

I personally don't like the novel but I won't comment on if the novel is good or not. I think it would rate a 3/5 so... it's pretty average.

 

1. Is this novel good? I personally like this novel albeit the novel pace is too fast, the character development not yet maximized for both main and side character even after 200++ chapter, the world building is ever changing. You might not like this novel but if it't for pure enjoyment to fill your time then it's wont hurt you.
2. Is this novel underrated in ranking? In weekly rank in webnovel is always top 5. I don't know if it's accurate but i like monster paradise better.
3. What rating you personally give to this novel? it would be 3.9 i think , 3 for pure enjoyment and 0.9 for unique taste of novel . the minus ? both character and world development are lacking , problem and crisis not giving good grip but yeah not bad either and somewhat the progress story is developing too rapid that makes you wondering is there any important information that missing?.

all in all, good to fill your time and don't read to seriously at the moment. The story is not bad tough, it should be 4 stars but it wont go higher than that.

This novel isn't the greatest of novels, but it seems to have a nice amount of OP going on, a very different variant of system from the usual system stories and it all somehow becomes a very enjoyable story. It isn't a complicated story, so don't expect the greatest in novel-experiences, but it isn't shit either, like so many say.

 

I like the concept, I don't like the delivery. There isn't as much OP shadow hacking abuse as I would've wanted cause MC keeps moving higher too much.

It's like you expect a massive OP grind fest in a VR game novel, but MC keeps jumping to newer hunting grounds for 'reasons' rather than take absolute advantage of his cheat to grind his current map for all it's worth. And then he meets with 'difficulties' at the new map and I just start sighing...

TL;DR, some expectations aren't met.

Like multiple novels both on QI and in other TL sites. This is a novel that you need to turn off your brain and just enjoy it. Like someone else said this novel is junk food. It aint good but it isnt so bad it just it painfully average.

 

No? I vote 3/5 or 4/5 on some novels I like, and I vote 2/5 or 3/5 on novels I don't like. 1/5 means it's so bad I wouldn't recommend it even if someone loves the genre.

It's not the best but I'm just there for the power-leveling and basking in the MC's OPness

 

It was somewhat interesting at first but then dropped down inmeditaly, reason why started with good rating and then become bad ratings.
