Can't copy as in can't copy because image form or can't copy because anti-rightclick ? I usually copy the free chapter through reader mode
I think the text cannot be copied due to javascript restriction where the right click was disabled... and not because it was an image.. Whenever I encounter something like this, I usually save the whole webpage as a PDF file (Ctrl + P, then Save as PDF). After opening the converted page, I can already copy the text... never failed me so far... If you've tried it and it is not working, then I'm sorry... can't help you with it..

Yes, but it varies per novel. Some novels are locked and cannot be copied directly from the website but other novels could be easily copied. I am not really sure if it was the author's prerogative to set their webpage like that. However, based on my experience, if the free chapters are locked, then most likely the VIP chapters had the same restriction. Hope this helps.
