Discussion Will you report the adultery? (inspired from a dream)

So, i basically just woke up due to incoming asthmatic patient, curses this 24 hours shift.

Anyway, I just have a dream, involved my old friends from the medical school.
In that dream, I discovered my friend cheating with my other friends (yes, plural, he do a 3p). So this friend, let's just say Adam, is actually married to my another friend, let's just call her Eva. I bashed Adam for why he cheated Eva.
So one of the friend who cheated with him, let's call her Lilith, recorded their 3p scene with her phone and then stash the SD card in a safe, which I should have not able to open. But with dream logic, I hit the safe and the sfe door opened, I quickly took the SD Card while Adam and Lilith were stunned.
I quickly inserted the SD Card into my phone and forwarded the video to Eva.

The me in the dream world is not hesitating in reporting the adultery, something which the me in the waking world will not do (I will try to search for the reason of the cheating first). However, I could somehow understood why the me in the dream world reported the adultery. Since I hate betrayal, perhaps the me in the dream world, as a reflection of my unconscious psyche, was just doing what we believed as our personal justice.

By the way, in the real world, Adam is not married in any way to Eva, and I doubt Adam and Lilith had any affairs. I wonder why my brain generate this scenario... (perhaps this scenario happened in a parallel world)

Oh yeah, if you ask if the me in the dream world watch the 3p video. My brain didn't generate the content of the video. It literally say: Not enough material to generate content. Like some error message.

Then the dream world burns...

Why am I writing this thread? I basically bored and sleept while waiting for the patient.

I would not report it. In fact I wouldn't care or speak about it at all unless ( in the case the concerned people are my friends) they spoke to me about it first. There is a limit to how much you should mingle in the personal life of your friends I think, and there sexual life/couple problems are clearly out of bond unless they seek counsel from you.

 

I would tell them. But only to see the chaos after and to sieze my friends delicious wife

That's a hard situation to be in, so thank goodness I have no friends.

 

In this case you could try to talk his wife into revenge adultery and organise 3p with her and record it on video and then invite both of them in the same room and turn on both of the videofiles...

well you friend cheat on your other friend, so as a friend you have to help your friend. so the one in the wrong should face the consequences.

Honestly no, I would talk to him about it and try to understand why. But I don't want to get involved in personal matters of that magnitude.
But if both of them were to be my friends then Holy shit that's fucked.

It depends on your priorities. Alternatively you could talk with the "wrong" friend about the issue without creating a conflict from the beginning.

I will tell you, when someone cheats, he/she can do it again if she/he isn't discovered, plus the other one is a friend too, put yourself in the shoes of the one being cheated, would you like to keep being made a fool, or have your friend show you the hard truth?

I have read almost weekly about women killing, mutilating, etc their "partners" or childs, but you won't see that make noise in the big media because that goes against the agenda of the "powers"

 

That's why I mentioned priorities. Will you try to influence the "wrong" friend meanwhile covering the truth so that the other friend won't be hurt, or will you take the side of one friend over another, or just stay neutral respecting their decisions. Afterall the world isn't black and white and gray consists of many complicated situations. Also if there are feelings involved you may just make yourself a scapegoat. Like the person who delivers bad news and then gets executed for this very fact... So potentially you may lose both friends instead of just one.
Granted if the friend who commited adultery is an a-hole without any redeeming qualities about him why would he be your friend in the first place?
