To me it has now become more of a necessity to use VPN as recent data suggests. Our privacy is not guaranteed and looks like every hacker can spoof our location. I urge everyone to use a VPN and for read article on VPN Providers for starters just to get a rough idea. Give your suggestions too !
VPN there are free VPN but then the speed is really slow but as always it depends on for what you need it
rule number one VPN dont hide your data track they just say "i fetch data for this guy" the cookies and your browsing habbits are too easy to track if you use VPN pay for it and get good performance
yup, it is dangerous to not use a vpn service that reroutes your pc IP to another region while going to sites like facebook and/or mail where you explicity put your real name, your location, the school you went to, your local of work cause someone may find the closest server to your PC
Privacy online is almost impossible to archive. Did you know that if i.e. if you use chrome, your browser is identifiable by Google no matter what? If you use a VPN, get one that don't log user activity. Free VPN's are notorious for selling your data, so don't use them.
uhmmm maybe,,,, let me think a i got it the 'STATE' is sitting inside the networks and watching you ....maybe?? but more serius it would sound like rule number two: -make shure the chosen VPN encrypts -make shure it dont sell your data
I am against free vpn as they do not provide the same level of data protections as the paid ones do. Plus there servers are very limited and there is no surety that those free VPN do no leak IP address.
On phone i rarely use any since all VPN is a battery hog, but on PC i often use some, and for me SoftEther work like wonders . Took some time to understand, but you can do so much thing with it
And not only that. As long as you don't block every third-party request, you'll still be tracked by a few websites. Website devs usually sacrifice user's privacy for their own convenience every time they use a CDN. Basically, a select few CDN services are aware of most of your online history.
To combat lazy devs who use CDNs for APIs, Decentraleyes is an extension that redirects those requests to locally stored versions. It doesn't completely solve the problem, but it does significantly mitigate it. https://decentraleyes.org/
