Should I read douluo dalu first before UTS? or is it okay to skip it? Coz I heard that UTS is the sequel to DD and they say it was a good novel. Thank you guys.
They are not "Direct" sequels, per se, thousands of years pass between each (Doulou Dalu, Unrivaled Tang Sect, Legend of the dragon king) with new characters that have little to no relation (With a few exceptions i guess) with MC from the prequels. Each prequel novel does provide some detailed background information for sequel novels though, the Tang Sect, Shrek Academy, Spirit (How people in DD3 get their soul rings), etc. All in all its possible to read all 3 at the same time if you want, and you won't get lost too much since they explain the basics when needed be.
