I think we all can agree that this novel is not that good compare to TWO, but what confuses me is the rating of the novel itself, it has so many 5 stars rating and the reviews for the novel can be considered fake? As there is some reviews that are copy paste.
Recap of latest fight scene (chapters 155-158): Bad guy: Super BS power ACTIVATE!!! MC: Super-duper BS power ACTIVATE!!!! Bad guy: Super-duper-ooper BS power ACTIVATE!!!!! Spoiler At least he lost the fight, he's had it on easy mode too long. I'm really hoping he uses the economic influence of his trading empire to keep their city from recovering from the damage, just to show there's more to fights between countries than two guys slamming their dicks together to see which is bigger. Unfortunately, simplistic readers tend to rate stories either 1* or 5*, while only more thoughtful readers will rate stories they like/hate 4*/2*. This means good but complicated stories simply can't get the same ratings as good but simple stories. That's why I've started ignoring the average rating number. As for those two super similar reviews, the second seems like someone trying to update a review he mostly agrees with.
TWO author didn't fully plan things out when he wrote his story. This author doesn't seem to really plan at all. Game system is awful(are their any good game systems in Chinese stories that aren't ripped off from something?). Author walked himself straight into a trap that TWO didn't even have to bother with since he decided to base his story around dynasties. That trap being that he knows almost nothing about dynasties in the rest of the world and so what we have is incredibly shallow nonsense for the other countries and Chinese dynasties being hyped. From what I've heard the Qin dynasty that the MC is leading only lasted a couple decades. As opposed to the current royal family in the UK that goes back centuries and which had an Empire that spanned the world. Then there's the elephant in the room of the Mongol Empire that hasn't been mentioned in the story. Took over all of China, probably more significant to the rest of the world than any of the big Chinese dynasties mentioned in the story, and biggest continual empire in human history. If they're Empire level then the dynasty of GK should be a level above them.
Any image about "map in heaven awaken world?" Without map, is really difficult to imagine every place => great qin village is in "north" => great qin village located in forest of horror => forest of horror - little valley - vietnam country So, great qin village will ocouppied from north mainland to southeast to conquer vietnam ??? Status : chapter 159
China is suppose to be in the center. MC's village more towards the north of the center. Vietnam should be to the far north of the MC's village past a few other areas.
So i've been reading TLE and as of now ( chap~209) im wondering why he isn't going ham on the players factions ? He fought to a tie with a npc faction (alone). Im pretty sure he(great Qin) could completly wreck any player if not all
when did he get "sealed" he could wreck any player BUT the sheer amount of players owned by the other factions can and will wreck him if he showed himself as they would make an alliance
Anybody know how bad the racism gets in here? It's pretty obvious that it'll be a problem, but does anyone know just how illogical it gets? Frankly, I'm already cringing a little as we read up to the 'conquer the stupid vietnamese' plot arc, and would prefer not to invest in a novel that goes full-on propaganda-crazy. : \ For clarity: Historical animosity is fine - I thought The Records of the Human Emperor did it pretty well, where there was plenty of hate, but also a great deal of respect; the koreans, hu, and japanese were detested enemies, but damn skilled ones. On the other extreme, batsh!t lunacy like Castle of Black Iron (chinese as Hitler's ubermensch) or Age of Cosmic Exploration (holy sh!t . . . What. ) is just pathetic and embarrassing. Does anyone know which extreme TLE will tend towards?
