He did something that caused earth's spiritual energy to shoot back up. Probably was like a seal or something. Because he was scared before that if he cultivated seriously, he'd dry up the earth. Not overly clear on this part. Something author is building up in the background. Secrets of the earth I suppose. He also caught an evil cultivator and handed him to China's martial arts association. His power level is ranked as "Ex" in that worlds standard. Probably Gold Core equivalent from what the humans think.
One of the reviewers for the novel said the later chapters contain racism. Well, so far I have only read up to Chapter 50 and I like it so far. But if possible, I would like to know what the racism thing is about. Like what happened exactly and how bad was the racism? Can anyone give me details? I don't mind spoilers.
The racism isn't all that blatant. It's just that three higher beings came down to earth through a portal near the china sea (I don't know exact location, somewhere near Japan in international waters). The Americans shot missiles to the cultivators from the higher world and ended up getting their destroyer and a submarine annihilated. Something about them being arrogant and not able to sit still if there's someone more powerful than the US. That's my best guess. And the Japanese acting like cowards? (there was a powerhouse from Japan but he didn't want to get involved since he was afraid of being killed. There was also someone else from China who was the same, wanted to run away.) I've seen worse cases of racism before, this ain't all that bad.
