Private Notes/Tags for Reading List

Is there a way to make the new private search tag alphabetical? I feel it'd make things a lot more easier to search. Also, thanks for the new feature!

An hour or so ago, I had disabled the notes feature and it only got rid of the notes icon but kept the new chapter icon with 3 lines.
But now when I checked, it's back to the way it used to be.

Not sure if the code was updated, or if I just needed some caching to expire or what.

 

This is a major step back for me... I kept my status up to date with where I was in my stories, and now it is quite painful to look at the new set up to see if any new chapters are out.

I have been a quiet user for over a year now, and this is only time I have had a complaint :/

I would like a way to not have this update as all, as the way my status looks is not fixed at all by the "disable reading list notes" thing.

 

This is a 'meh' update to the site IMO. Sure, the tags are nice, but it'd be nice to have an option to go back to how it looked before (Book icon and then the blue circle of completion).

Well, I'm personally pretty lazy, so going through and adding tags to every novel I read (somewhere in the 110's).....oh boi, this is gonna be "fun". xd
I feel kinda bad for people who want to add tags and they have 200+ novels....that'd be a nightmare.

Edit: Oh, it seems now it goes back when I disable the tags, and it keeps the filter option so I can go through the tags. Nvm, this update is great!

 

Ya, just noticed it does that now. This is actually pretty great now that I can have the old look and still have the tag filter options.

 

I'm baffled this comment didn't get more likes, those people are getting too stingy these days. Tsk.

 

@Tony is there a way to view all the snall bug fixes and changes. These are things i tend to keep track of, so itd be nice.

It’s an extra click. Users often make complaints about accidentally tapping the chapter button. The notes and chapter update changes have been requested for a long time. I’m sorry you feel this way, but as you can see, Tony has already started working on incorporating the feedback into the reading lists. I hope you don’t give up on this site just yet!

Well, there was also the fact that the grey boxes made it hard to tell which series were unread at a glance, so there was a small practical problem there... Still, it was only a glance problem.

 

Nice~ I can finally make notes on why I’ve dropped a novel in the past. Saves me reading it again and dropping it a second time~

 

Isn't that a bit much? Sure, I believe we should state our complaints, so that the feedback would help them improve the site.. but this is still a great site and really helpful for supporting the translators.

And we really should be more grateful.

 

Mmmmm... I liked the new icons (except for the fact that the notes one looked like broken image and made me think it was a bug lol!), but agree the color is part of NUs personality.

En, I might make some ranty notes someday hahahaha

Mmmmm... I think it’s normal these days to expect the changes to be an irreversible decision and also normal to presume it’s an “unasked for” change. Luckily NU isn’t like that!

I am too excited by an update to worry over the cosmetics. Hehe
