News Creative Novels is looking for Original Stories

Hi all!

As you all probably know, JFB launched our new website, Creative Novels (which, btw, if you haven’t checked out, what are you waiting for?), just a few days ago. As part of our new start, we’re looking to expand! While we have several original stories already, Creative Novels is looking to host even more.

So if you’re an aspiring author with a story you’d like to share, if you’re at all interested, even if you’re not sure, please contact us! You have the opportunity to be hosted on a platform that reaches millions of views a month, many of them on our original novels, if you only reach out!

It's not really like that. We've always had both translations and originals. Right now, with the move to new servers and a new site, we've got room to expand, so we figured why not? It's good for aspiring authors and it's good for us.

Can you explain more about the requirements of original stories that you guys would accept?

 

We were having some trouble with our old website, which you probably know about if you've been reading with us for a while. There were a ton of bugs and things started fritzing out as more people visited the site.

The plan was always to get a new and improved website, but the sudden incoming death of our old one kind of accelerated the timeline.

Oh, haha, we tried to create a better reading experience on this new website with tons more features. It ended up looking way different from our original, but if you keep looking around, you'll see features we pulled directly from our old website. Do you like it?

I'm all for nefarious, really. But the curated thing was what I was mostly asking about. Are you going to be open to all or do you have requirements (finished or ongoing, a standard of English quality, etc)

Then, yes. We do have certain requirements regarding English grammar skills, length, posting schedule, etc. that we ask authors to meet.

We do promise our readers good, well presented content, and these standards are a part of that. That being said, we work with authors to help them achieve that, along with other benefits, so that they're not left in the lurch.

i registered an account there just now but cant seem to find the button to create a new novel or is original novels not allowed to be posted anymore???

 

Hi! If you’d like to post an original story with us, please DM me so that we can talk about it. There are several steps in the process to get you author access on the website.

 

i already asked your discord, the owner said that it will be available november. i'll wait ^_^
