Smartphone or Tablet?

My smartphone has gotten wet and beyond repair so I'm thinking of a replacement in one of these two. I'm thinking of Amazon Fire HD 8 because of its large screen and advertised that it can last for 12hrs or this smartphone Ulefone Armor X because its rugged body, IP68 waterproof and large battery 5500mah. Which one among this two do you think should I get? I'm not into expensive flagship phones nor tablets so please don't recommend others.

Specs on papers Ulefone has advantage but Fire HD8 has larger screen which I like for watching youtube videos and it's also cheaper.

I forgot to mention that I have another smartphone which is an LG and the replacement I'm gonna buy is only a substitute when my main phone, LG, is charging.

 

I think the phone would be more convenient then the tablet.

 

A phone you put in your pocket. A tablet you carry. Not really that hard of a choice honestly.

 

Amazon Fire is unbelievable slow. Even an iPad mini is better.

 

Plus the phone looks sick.

 

Both is shit, seriously. But if you insist, buy the phone, it's better than the tab.

I'd choose the phone. It's too inconvenient bringing a tablet around. Imagine answering a call with that tablet...

 

Aesthetics, the only thing that really matters. Lol.

 

A phone is more useful for the outdoor (and for other thing like make a call)

 

Outdoors? What's that? Can you play on it? Eat it?
Does it come in different sizes, shapes and colours?

 

Buy a low price phone to be able to contact people and the pad for everything else.

 

More toward smartphone for mobility. But if there is a performance different, thats sometging else

Get a phone, it's just more useful than a Tablet.

I wouldn't buy that phone tbh, I'd buy a used Xperia Z5 or something, it's probably about the same price, it is where I live.
A refurb LG V10/V20 is also a decent choice too, you can find them on Aliexpress.

 

If it's to put it into water again I think the phone will survive longer

Both are shitty. Even though the quality is not up to the price, I think iPhone x space grey 256 is a good phone. It's around USD1.1k in Indonesia
