I get sad but it's more about the inevitable death than it is wanting to have it happen sooner. The knowledge there will come a day when everything ends, when I won't be waiting on the next chapter of a story Im reading at the time, it's horrible. A good ending is something I look forward to in a book, but I can't imagine one for myself. There isn't enough time in a millennium to experience all I WANT to experience, and it sucks, don't think I could ever consider shortening my small, best case scenario, century I have here.

Meditation and the likes are very useful if you get into them, it's not going to do magic though and change you instantly, but with time and practice it can certainly help you. But you have to expend a certain time to have effect, so yeah, going to a monastery for some time may be a good idea.

Yes feel the force of the dark side bind you, let its gentle embrace hold you down, as you are driven mad from its emptiness, pull you into the abyss of melancholy... just kidding!

Honestly, I can somewhat relate to your circumstances, but not really, as I neither watch anime these days nor play games, and hobbies are boring to do. College... I say I kind of have so-so relationship, but I mostly enjoy it for its endless hours of free time. I just watch an entire lets play for the whole dark soul series that made me feel empty for just one night after spending a week to finish it. But got over it quickly, I never study as I hate studying now even though I have to get a driver license, I never read books, sports are always boring to me, and drugs in my mind are bad so I never did it.

Yet I am not depress and in fact I look forward to the future even more... as there are far too many thing I want to see happening especially wanting to gain some form of immortality....

I look forward to death. So bored of life. Cant wait to die. Hope reincarnate as cultivation genius. Worst case would be hell or being reborn on this boring planet. Most probably one dies, and thats all. Nothing more, nothing less. No consciousness just dead.

make sure you're getting the vitamins you need. Also, try getting 15 minutes of white light a day when you wake up it helps a shocking amount. When I did those 2 things it made a shocking improvement to my life. if you cannot go outside they sell white lights you can buy.

    I am way pass depression.

    What I feel is emptiness.

This where you'll end up if you have the balls not to kill yourself.

Knowing how futile life is, but still clinging to that sliver of hope.

Sometimes life is not about fulfilling your needs.

You need more shit on your face to realize you are holding a flower in your hands.

Go volunteer for a month in retirement home. Realize you will be one of those geezers someday. So you know what you have to work on in order to set up your life.

quite impressive to be bored of things you haven't experienced at all o.o. also if it makes you feel better we have it way better than cultivator world's here. With insane power gaps like that you'd have to sell yourself as a slave or live as a normal sheep that they pump as tax money. No plot armored journeys without author-sama

true. but an ignorant sheep is a happy sheep. I feel if I were a peasant in medieval times, who never got an education that I would be far far happier and would be religious and cope with after life thoughts.

I can't offer much advice but the usual: try and eat good meals rich in nutrients/vitamins. Eating takeaway and crap food can affect your state of mind and enhance your depression. And again, try and do some exercise.
If you have any good friends about, hanging out with them more and stuff may improve. I know it's just generic shit I'm giving. I got depressed moving to uni and found it hard to make new friends and ate shit. Got me very depressed. Eventually made a few good pals and started eat less shit and started getting better.
Therapy and medication may help, it's worth a shot. Nothing to lose (unless it's really expensive...).
    Wish you all the best.

Oh yeah, if you want to fix depression, you need to figure out what is making you depressed, for some it could be overwork, for some it could be not enough work just to name common ones, personally it was lack of direction for my life for me also being a finn which means we start with depression.

If you know how, you can push all your gray thoughts to part of your mind and get periods of mania and depression instead of full on depression. If you don't know how then you might end up with sex crazy yandere pinkie pie tulpa.

You can try to also change scenery, pace and your outlook on life. Sometimes being stuck in a routine in unchanging place dulls your mind, going at a constant pace is effectively same. You just need to remember that since you can't win regardless of what you do, the world is your oyster, rather than being another flame that will eventually be snuffed out, you can strive to make your loss as spectacular as possible.
