There is no way coffee helps you sleep. It does the opposite : keeps you awake. I think milk should help someone sleep but exercise works best
Well, sometimes a good whack to head can send you to dreamland faster than you expected. Joking Aside. A stroll in the midnight do the trick for me. Well asking your patner or family to give you some Massage also can do the trick
Depends on your tolerances, I think, for some coffee's like a shot of sugar, you get a short buzz, and then pass out.
In my other thread on how to stay awake I’ve got people saying stay in a cold area. You’re the opposite of them I see. Honestly it does a bit. Well it certainly doesn’t keep me awake. Haha. People are telling me hitting yourself is good to stay awake in my other thread. I guess a good whack could work to sleep as well~
You might have developed tolerance. Caffeine is actually a medication The same as antibiotics tolerance
I play games on a tablet that are too simple to require any actual thought, but just complicated enough to mostly block out other thoughts, and too boring to make me care whether or not I fall asleep in the middle. This one works best: Spoiler When the sleepiness finally hits me, I put away the tablet and my glasses, get comfy, and fall asleep within a minute or two. It's amazing for me because in the past, most nights I'd be lying in bed unable to sleep for several hours.
"Einstein's Riddle Logic Puzzle" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rottzgames.logic&hl=en_US (It says that it's supposed to be challenging, but for everything besides the higher difficulties, it can be solved just by following the directions one at a time, so it's not difficult at all, doesn't even require any thought, just follow direction, read next one, follow it, repeat.)
Listening to Radio Talk show annoys me with their holy than thou attitude, labelling those who disagree with them with insults and fake intellectual so it would be more effective than drinking strong coffee.
LOL. You don't have to listen to the content of it. My trick is to use radio app. You can tune in to foreign radio station with foreign language. It's a bonus if you can find a foreign radio with nice voice and good intonation.
Thanks~ I’ll check that out later. You’re clearly listening to the wrong radio stations. Try something else next time.
That really depends on what you're listening too. Better find something your interested in or try podcasts. That way you'll have more things to choose from and a wide variety of topics.
less coffee actually coffee makes me sleepy, so more coffee <.<;; my body processes caffeine weirdly also white noise like AC or fan so I can drown out the world around me and just lose my consciousness in the fluffiness that is my bed.
Coffee makes me sleepy, too. I hate the white noises though. I don't like how there seemed to be a constant ringing in my ear. Gives me headaches *sigh*
yea, white noise is kind of an individual thing : some people can easily ignore it, others can't even if they wanted to. And yay for weird bodies that caffeine makes sleepy!
True. Some don't seem to even hear it at all. I especially hate the times when I'm suddenly struck with white noise. So painful (I'm not even sure if the pain was imaginary haha) And yeah, Hooray for weird bodies!
