Now that you confirmed that they will not be together the thing is the tag YURI appropriate for your novel. Sure the theme is romance impossible between 2 girls but somehow i can't help but think it's not enough. Some people would say it's yuri, some not, me i would it's shoujo ai but at the same time not. Also if you thought of making / make Alicia marry and have children i think i will become a little angry against you even if it was because it was a must in the story (even if i will agree it was necessary too). But having you say that the third time would be fine make me already forgive you in advance.

 

Sorry, I will never use the term shoujo ai, since it's pedophilia, not a softer yuri. Yuri is a softer lesbian. The lesbian story you're probably looking for would be labelled/called 'resubian' if it's published in Japan.

However, Book 4 (or maybe Book 5, not sure if there's enough content for the book before that) will involve Felicia and Lilicia spending the whole volume on a deserted island hidden by the sorcery of the spirit of a mad titan. They won't have sex, but there's only two of them on the island, with the occasional Alfinian natives.

The story itself is not about lesbianity really, it's the story about Felicia's extremely long journey. Truck-chan did not make a mistake when she said Felicia was several thousand years old, though she miscalculated Felicia's combined age due to the time difference between that world and this world. Truck-chan is actually related by blood to Felicia's original life. This story tells about Felicia's anger as a titan, annoyance as Malcolm, dissatisfaction for dying as a death revenant and fulfillment as she decides to reincarnate into our world one last time so that she can be with Lulurifiel, the wife who had been waiting for her for thousands of years.

To prevent their entire race from dying, Truck-chan was sacrificed to guide the souls of their people to our world. Lulurifiel was Felicia's wife back in the day when she was a titan. Lulurifiel has been shutting herself in the Marble Palace hidden from view in The River Countries. Felicia will one day find her by accident when the veils are thin and save her from the demons of Isolation, Shame, Wratch, Betrayal, Loneliness, Sadness and Death. As a result, Felicia gains the Marble Palace and Lulurifiel leaves the world of the living. Finally, after Felicia's death in Felicia's Third Life, Lulu joins her on their final journey.

I wouldnt say it's "just" lesbian porn that fills the gap. The large amount of manga and doujins that are either overtly yuri/lesbian or subtextually yuri would have an effect as well. There are even quite a few VNs that are yuri/lesbian.

Novels definitely have a smaller yuri presence compared to other mediums. In my experience roaming the web, Novels are the only medium where the visible yaoi/danmei presence far outstrips the yuri/lesbian presence.

@Ai chan wow.... those Felicia spoilers (which seem too... absurd? confusing? puzzling? to be true) are a buzzkill.

 

Don't worry too much about it. Felicia will meet and save Lulurifiel from her own demons after she becomes queen of Rafil, but that will be many volumes in the future, almost near the end of the story. As for Felicia's Third Life, Ai-chan is not sure if Ai-chan will live long enough to write it. Maybe if people buy FSL more, Ai-chan will get the motivation to write them quickly enough to reach FTL.
