Japanese city doesn't have enough ninjas

You've probably heard of Japan's population crisis, but have you ever heard of Japan's ninja crisis? That's right, not only is Japan short of population, it's also short of ninjas. Did you also know that Japan's government is funding ninjas?

And considering that Japan's unemployment rate is around 2.5%, the ninja shortage is only going to get worse.

• The Japanese city of Iga is suffering from a ninja shortage.
• The city, which is about 280 miles from Tokyo in central Japan, claims to be the birthplace of the ninja.
• The mayor is hoping to bolster tourism by drawing on the city’s ninja heritage.
• There’s just one problem: There aren’t enough ninjas.

Well there might be already modern ninjas that has high tect suit, guns, swords etc for assassination, infiltration etc. I mean I believe that every countries like Japan, Usa has their own hidden, soldiers, weapons etc. What we are seeing is just a cover up.

 

I thought ninjas were in a clan? I doubt ninjas would be useful in today's tactical warfare with modern technology and guns! Guns! Also, maybe I'm wrong but didn't most families in Japan lineage came from samurais and samurais detest ninjas for their methods.

I'm kinda sad about it, but looking at reality, it will be hard to pursuit it.
Unless you really like doing it, or nothing do to do with your money, or a person with chuni or an oddball.

There are questions I have.
1. Do I need to have a recommendation letter to enter?
2. Is it okay to have a slight knowledge about ninjas? (I read you need to need to some kind of knowledge or background about ninjas)
3. Is there a age limit as a student?
4. Other than the ones I'm curious, is there other things I need to know?
