Well I just finish village arc and thinking about that scene where he go back to 1-3minutes(forgot how many) reminds me of the FairyTail scene where Uriel turns back time and shocked because her life is only worth of 1 minute.....

 

Looks similar but a bit different, Spring Autumn cicada sent Fang Yuan's consciousness to the past, while Uriel's magic actually turned back time itself

 

Whats nice is that there is an explenations on why he was reborn and it shows that its possible to do it again under special circumstances unlike it being a one time thing in other novels

 

The Cicada Gu always needs an extended period time to recover after use. Its not OP like other time-related powers where they can just keep rewinding time repeatedly until they get the outcome they want.

 

each time that MC use it, it had to repair it and it's took a pretty long time

 

eventually he got another time related gu, and build a gu home with that one

 

And at the same time his luck becomes worse with each use making it hard to truly call it a cheat.

The latest usage of time travel in the current translation is very good, it showed that MC is not infallible or invincible. That he is not a god or in control, it made me loved the novel even more!
