I saw a fellow daoïst at a basketball match

    The guy on the seat underneath me was reading some of that good wuxia, I was surprised at the start because it was at a local city match in France and he was reading wuxia in english so that's very unusual ( considering the average level of french people in english and the low popularity of wuxia).
    I thought of talking to him but he was with his dad and saying to him "HeLlO FeLlow DaOIst" felt really cringy.
    What would you have done in my place?

    Obviously I would've offered him the chance to 'compare our cultivation'! And perhaps give him some pointers in his cultivation, if I'm feeling generous!

    I tried to talk to him at the end of the match but he slipped away in the crowd and I was with two non wuxia-reader friend that I didn't want to annoy so I feel like I missed out on a startled reaction that would have been pure gold :)

    this happened to me too. I was riding in a public transpo and the girl sitting beside is reading Its not easy to be a man..

    I remember when i was in a bus. I was sitting beside a 50+ guy and he was reading something from wuxiaworld(old blue theme). He was reading 7 killers(is that the title)???? I want to start a conversation with him but I didnt do it till the end. He was pretty into it so i dont want to disturb him.xD

    Calm down mate I was just surprised to find Someone who liked wuxia in the first place and furthermore in my native country :)
    I am not an attention seeker and I just wanted to share this story with the community, btw I probably Would have walked up to him and said that he had good reading taste :) The "hello fellow daoist part" was just a fun thought that passed in my head at the Time.
