Discussion problem accessing qidian website?

on one wifi network I use, I very freqeuntly get this error when i try to go to qidian:
This site can’t be reached
[qidian link]*’s server IP address could not be found.

• Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

*can't link due to post count, but everyone knows what qidian's address is

however, it basically always works on a different network (not the same apartment, though, so no relationship in the networks. also the providers are different). I'm also able to avoid the error by using a vpn. however, as the vpn I use is not unlimited, and I like to do other, potentially network-intensive activities while opening qidian, just using a vpn is not a feasible solution for me.

I've tried changing my dns configuration (I usually use google's dns), and it hasn't helped. I've also tried other browsers in addition to my usual (chrome), and that also hasn't helped. does anyone have advice? thanks

i don't know why people thought I was being disingenuous LOL. of course I meant webnovel, but everyone knows that it's qidian.

and I have tried flushing dns and resetting those configurations as well. internet speed is not amazing, but it's not awful by any means. editted opening post to reflect this as well.

try using comand prompt or cmd refresh your dns with ipconfig commands.

I had the same problem for many other sites as well. It happens your router is shit for me cause its low end version. Try restarting your router it works most cases. Or clear cookies and cached data in browser.

I imagine there is a hardpoint to plug into where the router is. check to see if you can access it there. maybe the ISP has a dns block?

 

Qidian 10 cent armies are still around, it seems. Trying to bait us helpful beings to open Qidian's site and raise their pagerank.
