    Interesting to get the update about the author. Hopefully the contract was such that the author could continue to post it elsewhere. It was an awesome story T_T

    I'm also kind of looking forward to his next work, though I wonder how recent events would influence the story and/or the author's mental state. Wishing him a speedy recovery and the very best.

    On LNMTL, Chapter 494 is when Lorist meets with his son and Baron Hansk, lists their crimes, and unofficially sentences them to death. Chapter 495 is when Lorist officially sentences them to death. I believe he sentences his son to death by hanging. Chapter 496 shows the aftermath of the execution.

    However, note that these chapters are numbered differently from the translation. Based on the translator's numbering, it would be 489 for unofficial death sentence, Chapter 490 for official death sentence and Chapter 491 for the aftermath.

    he will definitely kill all the rebels, but split off from the Empire? depends on what his highness does, if he meddles, then most likely hes gonna get loads of Sol, from the other lords and definitely from Lorist.

    Whew! I was worried the current arc would last longer than the remaining chapters : )

    Almost certainly.

    There hasn't been a new chapter in 11 moths, Quidian deleted it from their website, and the author is/was dealing with medical issues. Plus there were censorship problems with the Chinese government.

    Plus, if the update from his wife is to be believed, he's started writing a new book, and signed away the rights to this one so probably can't post anything even if he was still writing chapters.
