Spoiler: Arc 2, possibly inaccurate ARC 2 - 748 bemoans bout their B-score since he was expecting a high score considering that everything ended so well but due to his constant interference the score dropped to B and so he told MC he cannot interfere as much this time around. 748 was worried, he had to interfere the last world since his host was so naive and he likes his host very much since he doesn't want MC to be obliterated due to failure. MC is a flat faced cat with green eyes and black paws as if he has gloves on. He appears in the world as he's getting beat up by stray cats due to invading their territory and gets saved by a rather fat-orange cat [think garfield] who 'opened linkage' w/e that means and supposedly the kitten that MC is also an 'open linkage' cat as well. 'Orangey' rejects finding a 'master' when MC brought it up since he wonders why orangey would stay as a stray cat. MC gets picked up by a random boy who takes him to a bookstore owner in order to garner favor. MC wanted orangey to go with him but he refuses and hides due to some sort of possible trauma at being abandoned, at least that's what MC thinks. So the boy, let's call him fang, was pretty rough, I say boy but he's roughly senior high school student age. Anyway, so bookstore owner, let's call him Xin since I'm too lazy to go to the pinyin page right now. So Xin instantly takes to MC and adopts him immediately when Fang claims that he can't keep him and asks to come to see him from time to time. After Fang left, the system tells MC that his mission is to take revenge for the cat. Fang is actually the cat's killer, he has a hobby of torturing strays to vent his frustrations and anger due to his violent father and cowardly mother and also the evil Taoist that paid Fang to specifically torture and kill the cat in order to collect its soul because he's a rare animal with open linkage. MC asks why Fang is trying to get close to Xin, and 748 told him that Fang found out that Xin is from a well-off family and hopes to become his lover but he said its hopeless since they are both '0' [pft] and Xin already likes someone else. Xin names MC gloves because of his 4 black paws which contrasts with the rest of his patterns and takes him to the vet and buy supplies....after the vet visit MC was miffed since Xin actually held him down to let the vet 'burst his chrysanthemum' [fecal collection]. MC saw a lost pet poster at the vet and recognized that it was orangey and thought to sneak away to find him when he gets home in order to clear the misunderstanding. Xin and everyone that sees MC is amazed at how cute he is, how eye-catching his beautiful green eyes are and how obedient and meng he acts. Fang was there and MC would act very displeased with fang and scratch or reject him at every turn which makes Fang mad but he has to control himself. Xin eventually puts MC in his courtyard and closes the sliding [?] door but doesn't lock it and left to handle some business. MC sneaks out to find orangey and Xin comes back to find him gone and panics and eventually ran out to look for him...he found MC with orangey and had one of his workers pick up orangey to take back and call his owner while praising MC for being so smart. Orangey's owner shows up and calls him Fat and cuddles him happily despite how dirty he was, and ML, happens to be in the car as well when he caught sight of MC and picks him up and instantly asked Xin to let him adopt MC. Xin rejects him but ML isn't mad but smiles as he teases MC about being a flat faced cat and thus MC got mad and climbed up from his arms to paw at his ear w/o his claws ofc. ML also mentioned if 'gloves' got sterilized for his health and MC panics and jumps away to Xin and stares back at ML warily. MC asks 748 if ML is the same as big brother Fu from the last world...748 denies it while he fusses at 520 and asks if they were following them but 520 doesn't answer. MC believes 748 since big bro Fu wasn't such a meanie. [for teasing him about his flat face and sterlizing] They go inside and Fat and MC talks about how his owner didn't throw him away and ML notices 2 cats 'chatting' then suddenly ask his cousin how he lost his cat, his cousin said that his spoiled bratty sister actually snuck into his house and threw his cat away and he got so pissed off at her he banned her from the house after he chewed her out. So Fat felt more secure now that he found out that his owner did not throw him away and was a lot happier to go back. Eventually, Xin finds an excuse to get Fat's owner to leave thinking that ML would leave with him but ML stays behind and conveniently mentions that he knows someone called Houyang and that his person brags alot about Xin. Xin was suddenly excited and shy since ML mentioned his crush/secret love but shy because Hougang was bragging about him to others. ML said that Hougang is returning soon and that he happens to be allergic to pet dander and Xin was suddenly torn because he loves MC very much but he also loves Hougang...so ML left after he saw Xin's reaction and figures he won't wait long before he gets his hands on MC. Xin decides to text/email Houyang to ask if he's truly allergic and Houyang saw the message and recalls that ML asked him to play along so he can get the cat, and so Hougang answers that he is allergic and Xin felt very sad because he realizes that he has to give up MC. Houyang asked for a picture and doesn't know why ML has to resort to such tricks in order to get the cat but since he doesn't want a lightbulb/3rd wheel around, even if its a cat, then he's happy to help him. Xin finally arranges for ML to come to take him since he figures ML is the best new owner due to his wealth and obvious affection for 'gloves' and told Fang about it, Fang doesn't mind since MC has been aggressive to him and hasn't helped him in getting closer to Xin at all, but he acts distressed to gain points. ML comes to get MC and MC is a bit distressed since he's still hasn't completed his mission and wonders just how he's going to do it if he's away from Xin, ML notices MC looking at Xin sadly with the cutest pleading eyes and told him to behave or he's going to get him sterilized. MC stops struggling and then suddenly recalls that Xin is going to unite with his lover soon and so figures that he can use that to his advantage and make Fang suffer. After MC left to ML's house, he waits for ML to fall asleep and sneak away to his PC in order to send an email to the animal rights association [or something like that] about concerns over strays getting abused and killed around the area he was found. 748 thinks that his host is getting a bit more clever this time around and gets happier and i forgot when, but 748 thought that perhaps being a cat this time around is good for MC since he can learn to express himself. [i think] MC goes back to bed and ML retrieves the email and decides to help out. Soon Houyang returns and ends up moving in with Xin, the background story is that one day during a party, after grad I think?, Xin got drunk and woke in bed with Hougang and completely naked and covered in hickies and traces of lovemaking. He realizes that he loves Houyang and goes back to tell his family his sexual preference and gets kicked out of his home and thus end up where he is now. Fang decides that he will confess to Xin and that day Xin happens to be in his best mood but gets rejected because Xin said he loves someone else and Houyang showed up to make him back off. Houyang flirts with Xin and also asked to go back to visit Xin's parents, Xin was hesitant but Houyang said he wished Xin waited to confront them with him since he would've shared his burden and Xin felt better and decides to go along with Houyang. Fang gets upset and soon went to go find a stray cat to abuse, he has stuff like fish hooks, razors, etc....he doesn't simply kill them but enjoys the fact that they are in complete pain, despair but cannot fight back against him and so he inflicts as much pain as possible til it dies. Fang was caught by animal rights reporters with cameras and runs off, they save the cat and disposed of his tools and went back to process the pictures. MC would check on ML's tablet every so often for news and after a few days, he saw a report about a high school student caught inflicting torture and so Fang is being shunned by everyone, and his father beat him for not hiding his tracks better. ML likes to tease MC daily and so one day he told MC to roll around cutely for him if he wants to go to a Wen family banquet with him in order to go see Xin, MC pretends to be tired and yawns while rolling around with his paws in the air and stares at ML with sleepy eyes. ML inwardly satisfied and figures he might as well take advantage of MC since he was intending to take him regardless but got some cuteness out of it. At the banquet Xin immediately cuddles MC away and told Hougang to take his time while chatting with ML, Hougang felt he was ditched for a cat but lets it be. Evil Taoist shows up and asks to buy MC and Xin immediately rejects him, someone by the name of Xue acts arrogant and attempts to pressure Xin into giving up MC, but Xin said that MC didn't belong to him anyway so he tries to walk away after he rejects them again. Evil Taoist somehow makes Xin unable to move and tries to grab MC, but MC claws his hand and the evil Taoist immediately grabbed him and threw him, but he was caught by ML and ML demands to know what happened, Xin explained while he checked over MC for any injuries and ML intimidates the evil Taoist and Xue. ML returns home after the Wen family and Xue tries to appease him and Hougang and Xin also left immediately after. ML does a background check on the evil Taoist and dug up quite a bit of dirt on him. Wen family patriarch ends up in the hospital and supposedly he has 2 sons, and the 2nd son was colluding with Xue and the evil Taoist about something which caused the Wen patriarch to fall ill. Xue asked the evil Taoist why he specifically wanted MC, and he said that MC is a rare being which is suitable for the feng shui array[?] that they wanted him to do...eventually, they decided to pay Fang 1 million in order to replace MC. Fang agrees since all he had to do was stand still for 1 hour on a spot in the array, the evil Taoist figures that Fang is just as good since he has a strong evil aura due to resentment of the many stray animals he tortured and killed. Fang started to suffer as he relived every single torture and kill he committed in that one hour, not long after ML arrived with the Wen family first son and another Taoist. Find out that the evil Taoist was a student that was expelled due to his evil inclinations, he was jealous of the other Taoist for his talent and master's favor...so he got caught and thrown in jail, the good Taoist broke and fixed the feng shui, the Wen patriarch recovered, Xue and the 2nd wen master was jailed for attempted murder of the wen patriarch via the evil Taoist [this might be off] The good taoist helps dispell some evil aura off of Fang since he felt that the evil Taoist used him for harm and also warned him to do only good deeds from now on and not to have such an evil heart. Fang saw MC and immediately ran away in fear, from then on he didn't dare to get near any animals at all, he also left with his home with the money, i think the deposit was roughly 100k, he can't get the rest since his employers are all jailed...Fang also failed his college entrance exam due to all the stress and fear he was dealt and got beaten by his father which is why he left. Um i think his father tried to report to the police and get him back, but since he's an adult now and also left voluntarily, his parents have no rights over him anymore...can't recall what happens after that though... /shrug. MC lived in this world for 10 years being completely spoiled by ML, on the day he was about to pass away, he tried to hang on as long as possible to see ML one last time. ML arrived home and called out to him, and MC stared at him as long as he could and mewed once before he closed his eyes. ML checked on him and was very quiet for a moment and asked 520 if he moved on, and 520 said that his lifespan ended so 748's host has moved to the next mission world and asks if ML intends to follow him again and so ML wonders if he should and decides that he's still interested in MC so he told 520 that he wants to follow him again. Ok someone else do the next arc, I'm going to attempt to stick to my goal....attempt being the key word here lol. after reading it over in case stuff is missing idk why it typed in hougang instead of houyang lol....too lazy to fix /shrug the only thing missing that might be relevant is the fact that Xin thought that maybe he was developing a fetish for seeing MC being teased by ML because MC reacts cutely.
feel free to re-do arc 3, bc i don't do detail Spoiler: arc 3 When MC took over orihost body, he was crying. MC confused why he's crying, and 748 gave MC the plot. The orihost was crying bc it's the day when his crush (prev school president on uni) was engaged. So, orihost was sad while watching ppl enter the hotel where the engagement was held. But that's not related w/ MC mission. Orihost grows up w/ a single mom who works as a nanny in Xiao family, orihost also met w/ Lu Yan (Lu Hao? i forgot his name) there too (bc Xiao+Lu family knew each other), and although orihost was a nanny's son, Lu Yan didn't look down on him and even helped orihost a lot. Orihost's dad was also driver there, but he passed away when orihost wasn't born yet. He grow up in loneliness bc his mom busy taking care of the young master of Xiao family (his name Xiao Shaoyan based on mtl), and his nanny-mom kept telling orihost to not get close w/ Xiao family bc they're rich and etcetc. Orihost is obedient, so he followed what his mom want to not get close w/ Xiao family or visit them often. Orihost feels grateful to his mom bc in his view his mom raise him alone, so he quite sensible from younger age. But the actual reason for nanny-mom said sth like that wasn't bc Xiao family was a rich family but bc mom has a guilt. The nanny-mom actually exchange orihost w/ his son. Both nanny-mom & Mrs. Xiao (orihost's real mom) gave birth at the same time and same hospital, Xiao thrust the nanny bc the nanny+husband has worked for Xiao since long ago, so they didn't even know that the nanny exchange the baby, the nanny did it probably bc his mental state wasn't quite stable at that time bc she just lost her husband, so she thought that her son would be better grow up as Xiao's young master instead of following her. After the exchange, Xiao family gave vacation for the nanny bc she just gave birth but still provide her until she could work again at Xiao. When the nanny could work again, she's so happy bc she can meet her son. She pampers Shaoyan so much and Shaoyan grows up as waste, whenever Shaoyan did sth wrong, the nanny hate it when Mr+Mrs. Xiao scold/remind Shaoyan, so the nanny will say to Mrs. Xiao that she shouldn't scold the young master, she should tell him softly and how the young master will understand it bc he's sensible (=___=) For Xiao, Shaoyan actually is an embarrassment, bc he kept doing sth wrong that made the Xiao couple ashamed, but since Shaoyan is their son, they cannot too hard on him (mostly Mrs. Xiao who more soft on him). Later Shaoyan know that he isn't Xiao real son, the real son is Wen Chen (orihost), so he wanted the nanny to 'taking care' of Wen Chen. Now MC wanted to find a way to tell Xiao about this exchange. MC met w/ Mrs. Xiao when MC about to got to hospital, bc Shaoyan iirc fight and got hurt, so the nanny taking care of him there. Mrs. Xiao asked MC to ride w/ her and go to hospital. They met w/ ML, MC surprised bc how could he met w/ Fu Dage again and iirc he asked 748 whether it's really his Fu Dage and 748 not rly give the answer (correct me). ML was there bc his grandpa was hospitalized and asked whether Mrs. Xiao+MC wanted to see grandpa first? They visited the grandpa, talked a bit and the grandpa quite like MC. iirc ML also told MC that MC can come to him if there's any problem. Mrs. Xiao likes MC, she always think if only Shaoyan has a bit of MC's sensibility and being obedient like MC, it would be great. When they left Fu family and went to Shaoyan room (ML also follow), the nanny stunned bc saw MC w/ Mrs. Xiao, how could they come together? but the nanny cannot ask about it now, Shaoyan being unreasonable until he saw ML, Shaoyan admired ML (i think also has that kind of feeling?) so he wanted to talk w/ him, tho ML didn't answer much. Mrs. Xiao also said that MC could visit Xiao's home etc etc, MC thanks Mrs. Xiao. The nanny dragged MC away from the room and asked why he could be w/ Mrs. Xiao and even Fu young master? MC told him that he met Mrs. Xiao when he's about to visit the nanny, bc MC missed the nanny and want to meet her. The nanny stunned, she felt guilty but then told him that even if Mrs. Xiao said MC could visit Xiao family but Xiao+Fu family is in a different world w/ nanny+MC, they couldn't offend them, so nanny remind MC it's better to not get close w/ Xiao family, well MC obediently nodded. Later MC discuss w/ 748 how to expose the exchange, MC said to system maybe there's a diary or sth, bc MC watched drama and one in drama there's sth like that. 748 speechless, it didn't think that watching drama could improve MC IQ. MC searched the apartment and found a diary where it's written about the exchange and how the nanny feeling changing, from initial guilty and want to make up for MC bc the exchanged turn to want to make up for Shaoyan bc he's in Xiao and the nanny couldn't taking care of him. MC later gave Mrs. Xiao the diary, MC looked confused, and tell Mrs. Xiao to read the diary alone bc MC also want to know the truth, after that MC left Mrs. Xiao. Mrs. Xiao went back home, and read the diary, she read it fast and her face turn angry! How could the nanny did sth like this, she then went to Shaoyan (he's discharge from hospital already), Shaoyan was playing game and only saw Mrs. Xiao a bit before back to his game, iirc she took a hair from Shaoyan to do DNA test, she also told Mr. Xiao about it, and Mr. Xiao also angry. Actually even w/o the DNA test, Mrs. Xiao quite believe that MC's her son already, bc she always like it when see MC, so it's must be bc blood ties. When Mr. Xiao brought the DNA test, Mrs. Xiao opened it in the living room (Shaoyan was there too), the test proved that Shaoyan wasn't their son but the nanny son. Mrs. Xiao slapped the nanny right away, Shaoyan stunned bc he never thought that Mrs. Xiao could do sth like that, Mrs. Xiao also said that Shaoyan wasn't her son and showed the DNA test. The nanny finally know that Mrs. Xiao found out about the exchange, she was so afraid and even said it wasn't Shaoyan fault and how she worked more than 20 years for Xiao, so Mrs. Xiao should look to their feeling and shouldn't blame Shaoyan. Feeling? what about MC then? Mrs. Xiao was so angry, bc she cannot imagine what MC went through since young age that he's become so sensible, not to mention Mrs. Xiao know how the nanny pampers Shaoyan so much but quite cold on MC. When Shaoyan asked what's they're talking about (and called Mrs. Xiao as mom), Mrs. Xiao told him that she's not his mom and that Shaoyan is the nanny's son. Ofc Shaoyan couldn't accepted it right away, he's disgusted when the nanny claimed that she's his mom. Mr.+Mrs. Xiao let the bodyguards dragged them away, Shaoyan still didn't accept it and when he saw Xiao couple went out (in a car), he thought that they regret what they did to Shaoyan, so Shaoyan a bit proud but he has to disappointed, bc Xiao couple went out bc want to meet MC on his uni. When they meet MC, Mrs. Xiao was so happy and Mr. Xiao stared at MC, he found out that MC eyebrow looks like Xiao grandfather (correct me), previously he didn't think too much that Shaoyan didn't have similarities w/ Xiao, but now he knows why, it's bc his real son is MC and not Shaoyan. At the car they talked and Mrs. Xiao wanted MC to call her mom, MC did called her, so and also Mr. Xiao. They brought MC back, they also want to give MC new name (i forgot his new name). For Shaoyan, he didn't accept the reality yet, and went out to drink in a bar w/ his buddies. The buddies didn't know yet about the truth, so Shaoyan told them to give MC a lesson. He said it's bc MC just a nanny's son yet he dared to get close to Fu Dage, and bc MC likes men, so the buddies could do MC (correct me). The buddies will help bc they didn't dare to offend Xiao family, and thought what MC did till Xiao young master want to give him a lesson. After that they drunk till wasted, Shaoyan went to a hotel bc he didn't want go w/ the nanny. When he's about to pay taxi, he found out that he didn't have money and even his cards was frozen. He a bit sober, who dare to frozen his cards? it's obviously Xiao, so he's rly driven out from Xiao? the taxi driver asked Shaoyan the fare, but Shaoyan shout out rudely to him that it's only few hundreds dollar, and do you think this laozi can't pay and such, at first the taxi driver kept quiet bc he knows that shaoyan is someone who couldn't be offended (based on the bar where Shaoyan came out), but then iirc Shaoyan want to left w/o paying, so the taxi driver angry and even called police, he also beat Shaoyan. He then called the nanny, bc she's the only one who wants him. The nanny came right away and bring Shaoyan back to her apartment. Later bc wanted to make up to MC, Mrs. Xiao dragged MC to shopping, ML also there, bc he previously want to ask MC out to play but Mrs. Xiao wanted to follow, so they shopping together. They bought lot clothes for MC till MC speechless. They also accidentally met w/ Lu Yan and his fiancee, Lu Yan surprised bc saw MC w/ Mrs. Xiao and ML. Mrs. Xiao proudly said that MC's her son (iirc), Lu Yan confused, but Mrs. Xiao told him that Xiao family will hold banquet to make it clear and they'll send invitation to Lu family, Lu Yan could only nodded, and soon back to shopping w/ his fiancee. ML saw MC's face quite weird when they met Lu Yan, he's suspicious whether this Lu Yan related to MC (vinegar jar alert!). ML later asked MC about Lu Yan, iirc MC said about the crush thingy, but now not anymore has that kind of feeling. ML asked his system about it, and his system explained that most likely it's the orihost's crush and not MC, ML relief after heard about it LOL ML already thought MC as his own, since in prev arc ML even raised MC. Almost forgot; at the time when MC shopping w/ Mrs. Xiao+ML, one of Shaoyan's buddies saw it, he thought why MC w/ Mrs. Xiao and didn't want to do anything to MC, bc afraid there's sth wrong. Banquet was held, the bodyguard was told to not let Shaoyan enters Xiao again. One of the guest wanted to enter Xiao's gate saw Shaoyan and asked what happened, why didn't he inside? did he make his father angry again? and he's about to bring Shaoyan inside, but the bodyguard said that the guest can enter but Shaoyan cannot. The guest didn't understand but only tell Shaoyan to not make his father angry again, then left Shaoyan alone. Inside, when the banquet started, Xiao couple explain that MC's their real son, and told the truth about the exchange, so ppl finally understand why Shaoyan driven out from Xiao. After the banquet iirc Shaoyan buddies blamed him, bc they almost offended Xiao and beat Shaoyan. For the nanny, Xiao couple sue her. They also calculate how much money spent Shaoyan for 20 years, and wanted the nanny to pay for it, ofc they also calculate MC. But compared to MC, Shaoyan spent wayyyy too much. The Xiao couple only do that bc they know it's enough to make the nanny suffer. And bc what nanny did to MC (exchange thing), so there's no rich family want to hire her as a nanny anymore, as for her son, Shaoyan, he ended up addicted w/ gambling and lost a lot. The nanny regrets what she did, if she didn't exchange Shaoyan and MC, her lives probably still better than most ppl, and Shaoyan most likely won't be like this, she also blamed herself bc she spoiled Shaoyan when she worked as a nanny. During this arc, it said that ML slowly get close to MC, but unfortunately MC died bc of accident (correct me). ML quite pissed off bc he thought when he's slowly enhance his feeling w/ MC, MC actually died again, so he followed MC to next arc
poor host scumbag mom and son as well, how could they have the thought of killing the host after stealing what's right for him? lol at ML, trying to cultivate the feeling, end up being left again lol *silently lit the candle for ML's hardworking love system*
In the 3rd arc ML slowly realized his feelings to MC. So, he planned to confess. But then MC died. ML pissed off. Then followed MC to the next world. But he comes 20 years earlier. In this world they already confirm the relationship and the also got married. At first ML didn't want to scare MC away and wanted to approach him slowly. He already waited for 20 years. Two more years are no big deal. But then, ML just couldn't wait to eat MC.
I finished mtling this. I must say mc of this novel one of the cutest character I have ever seen. His mind is pure but he still doing a good job abusing the scum. Not a unique novel but I enjoyed all arcs and characters.

I'm liking how ML doesn't stupidly falls in love at first arc and has an actual reason to follow MC instead of the "coincidental" meetings from other Quick Transmigration where ML and MC don't end up together from the get go.
Actually, I feel that this novel is unique... In the the way that it is pretty short for a quick transmigration story. Arc one - Normal world where MC is beloved long lost second son Arc two - Normal world where MC is a cat Arc three - Normal world, switched at birth Arc four - Ancient setting where MC is the son of the unfavored legal wife Arc five - Zombie apocalypse where MC is reborn Arc six - spiritual plane where mc finally sees real face of ml and they deal with the things that are happening there before moving on to mc's original life where he gets back at his scum roommate. Then quick few pages following up on the negated 5 missions of MC that was taken over by a different host and a page or so of going back to the 3rd world to change the sad ending to a happier ending. The end. I agree >.<, MC is a cutie! Plus Ml is not rape-y or suuuuuuper aggressive towards MC.
I'm still at chapter 75. In the middle of arc 4. I skipped reading the previous arcs because I saw the spoilers already(I'll read them later). I'll just say some bits. Spoiler: bits of arc 4 MC woke up into a cold-temperament scholar. He was awarded as champion on the exam. It's set on the ancient times so I don't understand much. ML is the emperor's brother, a prince who came from outside the capital. He was in the world for 20 yrs and thought MC was no longer in the world and he missed him. His system said that he'll be there thus the 20 year wait. He's outside the capital bc he's trying to find MC from other places. He rejected the throne and made his brother the emperor. So MC is the champion and a grandson of a previous taifu who died recently. I don't know what that is but it seems important in the government base on the reactions. I'll make things short. The development of MC and ML is so slow so far then ML just can't resist. ML had kissed MC in this arc while their in the hot springs (naked). And ML finally confessed to MC here. I'll stop here. I'm on phone and it's hard.
