Hi guys Now, I don't remember whether it was an anime, a manga or just a dream (which I hope not!), but I was watching Ghost Hunt the other day and I suddenly remembered a sad part of a story where a girl died in a tower, most likely from starvation. Her ghost lingers, still waiting for her sister who disappeared a long time ago, believing she will come back one day. Of course it's the protagonist that solves the problem, but I don't remember anything else but that small part. Does is ring a bell, anyone? Thanks in advance.
I might be wrong since I dropped this novel ages ago but it kinda reminds me of spirit hunters of Maoshan sect. Not sure though, good luck!
Sounds vaguely familiar. I want to say it was an episode from Kuroshitsuji, but I’m not sure that’s right... no, I think those were boys?
i remember a novel that was something like that, but that ghost in the tower ended up being the protag, and as a ghost she saved some girl who then reincarnated her
could it be this one? https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/403/dont-fear-the-reaper the MC got locked up in a tower early, with a ghost sealed inside
Aww, it's so frustrating when you can't remember, but I'm 90% sure it was from an anime. I remember so little of it, but I believe the setting of that particular episode/story was something along the line of a kingdom in war and both siblings were princesses. The youngest being the weakest was left in the tower for her own protection and the older sister promised her to come back. The protagonist finds her skeleton hiding behind a tapestry of some kind, surrounded by a good amount of treasures and gold. And both siblings were blondes, I think.
I think it's a manga Do you remember anything about the interactions, was the ghost powerful enough to hinder the mc?
No, I believe the ghost was rather pitiful. The tower was a bit like "Rapunzel" with only one way in and out through a big window (without glass) and when the protagonist encounters the girl, he listens to her story and you see flashbacks where the older sister leaves the younger sister.
