I finished reading this novel few days ago after binge reading some of the authors novel and really loved it !! After seeing some of the author's novels getting spoiler thread , I thought to share this one too .

What I like about it :

• For those who have read 'Struggle for harmony ' this novel is kinda like spin off of one of its arcs , but only the plot structure is same the rest of the plot and the characters are completely different and I honestly like this more , at least its a happy ending .
• There are no third wheel characters coming between our OTP , there is one guy , disciple of another master, who was hitting on MC ( before mc and ml got together ) but MC flatly refused him and later they became really good friends .
• The ghost cases they solve and tte mysteries are really interesting .
• The side characters are also very nice especially ml's disciples , they like mc and respect ml , so when ML gives special attention to mc they dont get jealous or anything as they know there must be a reason for ml to do so .
• I especially love the relation btw mc and other characters an their banter always makes me laugh hard . Especially when MC and the youngest disciple attack each other with mocking words .
• The ML may seem cold in the beginning but thats only for outsiders he is really caring towards those close to him and likes to remain quite .
• MC is not stupid or pushover , he is very sensible and cute . In the beginning he got scared easily of ghosts but later on got used to it .
• ML and MC are really compatible with each other as one has pure yang body and other has pure yin .
• There are no misunderstandings btw them due to the identity of MC's host body as a Fraud as they all know the truth .
• Other than MLand MC there are two more couples - weasle ancestor X ML's youngest disciple and hetero couple of ML's cousin sister and mythical dragon.
• I really like the ending which is different from how other such rebirth novels end usually .

hmm, this looks pretty interesting....one of the other titles by the same author sounds familiar tho...hmm was there a spoiler thread for that one?

I have a tab open for it but I didn't read it ... I think jade gave me a link for it and told me it was kind of smutty but I forgot about it up til now o.o.

 

Can someone give me the links to the spoiler thread for "Perfect Destiny" "I have special high cold technique" and "Struggle for harmony"? I can;t find it when I search online...maybe my searching skills are just too poor? XD Also, I'm a bit confused about the MC, how does the fact that he used to be a socialite come into play in the novel or does it not? What happens other than the fact that the ML is an actual feng shui master while MC is a fake? Do they hold any other job like in Feng Mang where MC is both Feng Shui master but also actor?

For the title of this post, you might want to change it to “My five elements are incomplete without you” even if it’s kinda lengthy cause the “miss” in the Chinese title “我五行缺你” , actually refers to missing parts of myself instead of missing someone.

 

I started reading it today and may have to stick to reading this while it's light out. The humor is great, but some of the cases aren't things I want in my head before going to sleep.

 

When I read this....It reminds me of Ghost Hunt and Yakumo because of the supernatural mystery solving plots......I'm just glad I read through MTL because I felt some of it is really scary (but some parts looks funny too ) Hopefully I can finish this before I got sidetracked by other titles

1.No MC 's old job doesnt come into play in any way , but in the beginning he sometimes lamented that he cant go back to do his old job now that his current body is that of a fraud with criminal record .
2 . No MC or ML dont have any other job except for being feng shui masters . ML's family is already quite rich he is Uncle of the current head of the family and gets resoected and feared by them . But due to an incident with his parents and the family which indirectly caused his parents death he is cold to them and doent live at main house . MC is just doing his job as ML's disciple going around solving cases .

Shen Yi Qian is shou or gong at the end of this series? I am so confused.. and did Xu Jingu(?) end up with his master?

My MTL-reading-skill is is noob. When I read that this is about Feng Shui, I almost drop it, thinking that even I read from MTL, I'm not gonna understand it. well, you never know. MTL is quite understandable if you compared to Wuxia type novel. I can actually understand the plot (to my surprise actually), but just some of it makes me confused.. Overall, didn't regret reading this.

 

Shen Yi Qian is the shou and the weasel lordnis the gong , also no Xu Xingu did not end up with his master , although his master was wondering if he should be with him , so as to raise his powers but that was just his misunderstanding thinking that's why Mc is so powerful as he is with his master .

But damn it's so good

I'm crying I thought MC really dying
I even checked several times to ensure that 'this story really got HE tag, right?'

But ML can find MC back and they got married! I'm so happy for them

At first I read this at night but my scaredy cat self can't take it
Too scary and creepy that I cried, even though I only read the crappy mtl version (gosh I don't know I can read it again without got goosebumps and my heart jumped when I heard someone knocking in quiet room. So many knocking scene in there, why ghost are so polite)

 

I keep feeling like I spoiled this in some other thread, but this is definitely a HE novel. MC returns to his original body (which was in vegetative state) when the body he transmigrated into dies. MC and ML reunite and presumably live happily ever after.
