Building a new computer 2 months before I leave for a year in Japan. I should have saved that money instead...
Trying to p2w from buying diamond stuff when playing online games, truly regret it cuz I got bored eventually. Such a waste of money
I did something I shouldn't have done in HS this reminded me.. Learned a valuable lesson-never trust a stranger while you yourself are doing something sketchy that you think maybe this isnt right haha..On rail a guy approached me selling dvds for 5$ each.. Marvel movies.. A new release of something I forget.. Buy 5 get home so excited to watch.. I burst out laughing when I put it on it was in only the middle of screen.. The person had recorded it at the movies so it was shaky and people kept walking in front of screen haha..
my brother did this like 5 times over a period of about 3 months, with me calling him an idiot each time he came to complain about getting hacked and stripped... worst for me would be the copy of digimon world i bought for psx. kept crashing during first battle, no matter what i did or what i fought. took it back to store and got a new copy, same problem. used an emulator. same @#$%ing problem. absolute bullshit.
I worried for a friend travelling from America to Iceland on a cheap flight.. The airline was called WOW and I told her thats because when they land they look at gas dial almost on empty and say WOW we just made it ! I offered to upgrade for her to other airline.. tbh it went fine and she had a great New Years Eve in beautiful Iceland..haha
Bought a pirated game, need steam.api not once not twice and definitely not thrice, 10/10 would buy again
Back when DVD were still a thing, I regretted buying a software disk for a steep discount but was actually busted.
some digimon game don't have the best quality and coded properly for the psx like the digimon 3 nearing the world tournament it just crashes and you cant pass through it no matter how many times you did it
During Steam Sales I bought a bunch of strategy and RPGs like Neptunia (the entire series), Agarest (the whole series, because i loved blazing souls.....10 years ago.), XCOM (only the newer strategy ones), and Disgaea (all steam has). Every time I make a purchase of games i think i'll love, because i USED to love them turns to regret. I just don't have the time or patience anymore to blitz through the RPGs and my OCD compulses me to collect all the things, making RPGs especially sometimes feel really super slow.
I found someone on ebay who was dumping all of his Eldritch Horror board games (some of the expansions were still wrapped and brand new). It was a board game that had been temporarily out of print and expensive and his deal was decent so I picked it up. 3 years later I've played it less than 10 times and some of the expansions are still sitting there wrapped. From then on, I vowed to only buy an expansion after I have played the base version into the ground and still wanted more. As an indicator, I have not bought a board game expansion in 2 years. Helping fund the Mighty No. 9 kickstarter was also a BIG mistake. Unfortunately, I love Castlevania too much and funded Bloodstained as well. I pray that Bloodstained ends up being a worthwhile investment. If not, that will be the end of kickstarters for me.
