I'm currently at chapter 220, and I was wondering if the mc will reveal his strength - or at least a good part of it - anytime soon. I feel like it's becoming kinda boring with all his secrecy since it further drags the plot unnecessarily. Moreover, I'm craving for epic fights against the Noblemen or other factions... plus I don't like underestimated mc, duh! Can someone please enlight me? Thaaaanks

It appeared as tho his teacher was killed so barged in on the war and went on a rampage (and this is shortly after a series of epic power breakthrus spanning a few chapters) Don't know the exact chapter. But its shortly after the school arc (although he is still in the school). I would assume within the next 100 chapters definitely. But the way qidian is going, I doubt you'll get to read it til like a year later considering the adwalls, paywalls, and sporadic updates for this novel Its why I started mtl'ing it
Mtl is understandable if you are willing to give up on grammar, plot consistence and part of your sanity. Id say the time is getting close, its not like he is hiding for no reason though the weapon masters are godlike, the mc recently tried to gauge the power of a holy relic or some such took about a second for him to lose the finger he used to poke it
I wouldn't really compare him to Leylin tbh. This MC is more like this author other novel The Wizard World. He's basically if you dont mess with him he wont mess with you. I read a good bit of it in MTL.
he is close to leylin in personality they both don't fight unless they have control the difference is leylin was forced to flee while lu went to the devil sect to get stronger while being sheltered by shnaguan jiuli and tries to get him to marry someone from her family to expand his power of influence.
Naw I'm almost up the raws. The Wizard World MC doesn't really fight unless provoked. Plus the author got a certain style with his works most his MCs not really hot headed. The beginning chapters of Way of Devil after this arc he changes. Matter of fact the story drastically changes. That this and Carefree dreams clone each other. I think the authors either know each other in real life or one of them hate each other.

I finished that novel too. You know The Wizard World has same author Way of Devil? WMW actually copied The Wizard World in a lot of aspect but Leylin is much better character. This novel is basically copied by Carefree Path of Dreams especially when you get to later. Just try out The Wizard World then try to read this you would see characters are similar. @Nneeil He should show it less than 100 chapters. It's been a while.
I will say I dropped the novel because the author couldnt make up his mind. When you read about 200 plus chapters you will see what I mean.
