Discussion LCD for qidian novel

i guess i'll give this a go though, although i'll probably get hate for what i'll say since it involves aggregate sites.

if a chapter is available to read for free out there regardless of site, especially if origin site has locked chapters behind paywall unreasonably, i personally feel it's okay to talk about said chapter. reason being, the people who aren't gonna buy the chapter won't buy it anyway and will just pirate it once they find it won't ever be free, and so the only people you'll be spoiling in the LCD thread are new people to the fold and if they complain about it, they shouldn't have looked at the thread anyway.

this was never a problem with TMW, even though the latest chapter was locked behind payway people still talked about every new release both raw and translation, so why is this a big deal now?



moral of the story? fuck qidian, they fucked up a good thing and made shit way more complicated and greed based than it needed to be. used to be people willing gave translators money because they wanted to, not because they were forced too. we never had to worry about whether we would be able to read the next released chapter. but whatever nothing good lasts forever, always gonna be someone there to mess it up.

I understand what your saying, but forum is to discuss novels not just novel up novels nor is there any rule that says you can only talk about novels from novel up only.
And if there is a forum that has spoiler there should be a spoiler tag for them available if you decide to ignore the tag at the top then you can only blame yourself.
plus there are plenty of QI novel that still get updates and have free chapters.

they are dozen aggregator sites who had qidian novel and they will always be present and won't disappear as webnovel can't do anything about them,
even their mother company qidian couldn't do anything about them and you can find the raw of qidian novels in countless sites
